My favorite place is John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” The word ‘love’ in that Scripture can be replaced with the word agape. In English, we only have one word for love and it can mean anything from your love of football to loving your wife. In the Greek language, there are four words for love, and agape describes an unconditional love that relies only on the giver, not the receiver. The person on the receiving end can’t do anything to deserve this kind of love, nor can they stop it’s flow. That’s what unconditional means. That’s why I named my business Agape Construction, because I wanted to remind myself as well as everyone I come in contact with, that I believe in this love and its power to reach and change our hearts.
