THE ROSE // The Rose is a food and beverage destination, learned of our collective past, here in the present, with an eye toward our evolving future. Initially founded as a cocktail bar at the hands of Dave Kaplan and Alex Day or Proprietor's LLC (Death & Co., The Walker Inn) the Rose took an integrated step with the introduction of Chef Rene Stein (Amador, Seasonal). A focus on nuance, detail, and sustainability spread from the plate, to the glass, and through each limb of the search for how and why we consume. We believe in the story of the individual, be it the winemaker, farmer, diner, server, or barfly, and in our role as host to that progress we are all an equal part of. Ingredients are sourced locally, dinnerware made by local artist Jenny Dowd, wines are variations of Natural and Sustainable, and all cocktails are fashioned with fresh, hand made ingredients. NEW MOUNTAIN CUISINE// New American and Continental European traditions blend through a palette of sustainably sourced ingredients to form New Mountain Cuisine. Centered around the tenants of locally grown and sourced food, and rooted in the Jackson community - New Mountain Cuisine focuses on highlighting the culinary and regional abundance of our area through innovative, fresh dishes. Dinner ware is crafted by Alpine Artist Jenny Dowd, wine selections are as fresh and seasonally oriented as the menu ingredients, and our spirit and cocktail program equally versed in the classics and their reinterpretations. SUB ROSA // Sub Rosa is a concept; an expression of a deeper connection with what we consume and why. Every Wednesday evening we open our kitchen to two seatings of six people, inviting participation in the process of manifesting concept and potential into a meal through the hands of Rene Stein. This event can be hosted by anyone, anywhere, anytime that shares interest in an integration of ethical consumption, history, technique, and most importantly, hospitality.
Jackson's original town site, built in 1915 as a livery stable, we have come a long way since then! It wasn't until 1918 that we were converted into a Yellow Stone stage coach, taking visitors to and from this historic park. Two years later, in 1920, we became the Model T Ford Dealership. As 1930 rolled along the theatre became a bowling ally, mercantile, and local post office (original PO Boxes still on our premises). In 1948, Vera Channey brought her first piano player from New York City and transformed the previous mercantile into a theatre. Since then we have been known as Diamond Littles, Dirty Jacks, The Pink Garter, and now we are The Jackson Hole Playhouse. Bringing you professional entertainment 6 days a week! From America's longest running shoot out in Town Square, to a delicious meal in our Family Rock Saddle Saloon (complete with our professional actors serving and crooning your favorite western tunes), to a charming preshow, personal seating from actors, and a fully staged western musical. Through our New York City auditions, we follow in Vera Channey's foot steps bringing the best talent NYC has to offer. We invite you to join us for a night of entertainment and western hospitality!

Thai Me Up was founded in 2000 by a ski bum. A Thai restaurant with great beer that plays kung fu on the bar televisions and hip-hop over the hi-fi. Thai Me Up makes authentic Thai food as well as a few new American-influenced dishes. There is a 3bbl brewing system in the back of the restaurant—smaller than a microbrewery—this is a nano-brewery, which allows us to brew a fine line of cutting-edge West Coast ales and lagers. Winner of two Gold Medals and a Silver at the 2012 Great American Beer Fest.
Eleanor’s has all the perks of fine dining, minus the dress code. By serving rich, saucy dishes in a warm and friendly setting, this joint lives up to its reputation. And on top of one of the most creative menus in town, Eleanor’s is a primo brunch spot on Sunday afternoons. Plus, its bar alone is an attraction, thanks to reasonably priced drinks and a loyal crowd, a wine list that is second to none and a dedication to service that stems directly from its owners. This little place isn’t such a best-kept secret anymore, as more locals and visitors alike are discovering the down-home goodness within. But longtime regulars as well as newcomers still fill the tables nightly. This small restaurant has seen a few incarnations over the years, but it has succeeded in making it one of the most charming and consistently award winning and rewarding dining experiences in Town. It’s certainly a fact: Eleanor’s is synonymous with Jackson Hole! And rightfully so, seeing that the place is symbolic of many things that make the Teton Valley great, like humble, blue-collar values, a family tradition, and the ability to make something special out of nothing at all. After all, before Teressa Bellissimo invented Buffalo wings, what sounded appetizing about the puny limbs of a flightless bird? Open 11:00 to Close Daily. 832 W. Broadway inside Plaza Liquors.
