For the Jung brothers, Michael & Eugene, childhood fun meant playing ping pong. Whether it was with our parents, with their friends, or just with each other, ping pong was a guaranteed good time, every time. After realizing that growing up wasn't all that it was cracked up to be, we decided to find our fun again in 2012 by throwing pop-up ping pong parties around town. A year & a half later, with the lessons learned from dozens of events & the courage inspired by hundreds of fans, we went all-in to build the permanent ping pong paradise that Portland deserves.
The Jolly Roger was originally located on Powell Blvd until the owner lost his lease, and moved the sign over to its new location on 12 & Madison in the early 90’s. The Cheerful group purchased The Jolly Roger in the Summer of 2002. The partners remodeled the interior, and began the process of turning it into the neighborhood landmark that it is today. In 2004 Rob & Starr Jackson bought out their partners to become the sole owners. There have been numerous remodels since then, including the addition of a patio area. The Jacksons also own The Sports Page at 8590 SW Hall Blvd in Beaverton and their newest addition, The Jolly Roger at John’s Landing 5627 SW Kelly St in Portland, which opened in 2009. You can still find them tending bar at one of their locations across Portland.

With its exotic origins and wide selection of flavors offered by King Harvest Natural Foods, this epicurean delight will have the taste-buds craving for more. Hummus is also fast becoming more popular on the table as a healthier choice for entertaining and snacking. All flavors are available in 10 oz and 16 oz packages. Unlike many of our competitors, we cook our own beans (not canned), roast the freshest ingredients, use no preservatives thus keeping it as pure and as simple as you can get. King Harvest Hummus comes homestyle — thick and creamy but can be varied to your liking. Just think of it as a hummus concentrate and add a little olive oil to make it last longer, and give a thinner consistency like other commercial brands.

1748 House Coffee is our evolution from home hobby roaster- we used an air popper in those days, to custom batch craft coffee roasting. We also love sharing everything we learn about coffee along the way. The latest articles we read to cool new coffee ideas and reviews of our favorite coffee spots. We tell everyone "Coffee is Our Love Language". We love giving our coffee away as much as anything else. Of course you can't give coffee away for long. So, we sell fresh roasted coffee by the pound or the 5 pounds or 10 pounds etc. We love roasting for individuals, parties, offices and churches. Coffee isn't actually our main thing though. My wife and I work in a donor-based non-profit ministry serving international students at Portland State University. Any funds coming in above the actual costs of roasting coffee helps fund our non-profit work. We can set up a coffee subscription for you. Buy our latest bean by the month. You'll experience something a little different each time! Let us know how we can help you with coffee or anything about it! You are also welcome to drop by and I'll be happy to share a fresh cup!

Bravo, Andrew Volstead, father of Prohibition, alias the Noble Experiment. By driving America’s bartenders to Europe—where they discovered vodka cocktails—you inadvertently gave birth to the vodka avant-garde. As lovers of excellent spirits, we salute your selfless Act.
The OPNC threw up its first web site back in 1992 with the help of Internet in a Box and HTML for Dummies. It was estimated that there were only 70K websites that year. Now there are more than one billion websites, and the OPNC is still selling Oregon wine! The company grew out of my interest in wine, and I was convinced that people around the country would immediately share my interest in local wines from Oregon. It didn't quite work out that way, but the company has been my full-time work since about six months from inception. Today, we offer a wide range of great Oregon pinot noirs, including many now-famous brands, offerings from the multitude of small new producers, and occasionally some Burgundy and some Italian wine, since Bob the Pinotguy loves Barolo, Barbaresco, and all things Burgundy.

Nestled between Russia and Turkey on the coast of the Black Sea, Georgia is a country where eating, drinking and spending time with family and friends are the keys to a good life. Georgians make food that combines elements of Eastern European and Middle Eastern cuisines, resulting in fresh, flavorful dishes. We (Sean and McKinze, the folks behind Kargi Gogo) lived in Georgia for two years, spending our free time in home kitchens and restaurants learning the traditional recipes and unique spices that make Georgian food special. Our mission is to bring these authentic foods and experiences into American homes. ----- What Does “Kargi Gogo” mean? “Kargi Gogo” (კარგი გოგო) is literally translated as “good girl” in the Georgian language. It’s a heartfelt compliment and a term of endearment for women of all ages, especially the grandmothers, mothers and daughters working in the kitchen to create Georgian feasts (supras) for family and friends.

Organic unsweetened peanut and almond butters, baked butternut squash, homemade fruit preserves, and fresh-brewed chai tea are examples of some of the not quite raw but still whole food ingredients that make our tasty cheesecake flavors.
Portland Growler Company began in the summer of 2010 as a collective of designers and ceramicists that came together to create hearty, handmade ceramic beer growlers in a city known for its microbreweries. Each growler is slip cast using a high-temperature stoneware clay body and fired to an extreme temperature of 2232 F. Check out the bottom of your growler to see the initials of the artist who made it. Mix and match our three different handle styles and four texturally unique glazes to create the perfect growler for you. Because they are handmade, each growler is slightly different, making them uniquely yours. We love breaking the barriers of conventional growler design, while giving you the truest handmade creation for the storage and transportation of your favorite brews. Your craft brew deserves an equally thoughtful and handcrafted growler, don't you think?
