Named after the locomotives that once rumbled down R Street, Iron Horse Tavern features a style that interweaves the area’s industrial heritage with sleek international touches. Reclaimed wood and hexagonal tile constituting the floors in the dining room and bar. The bar itself will feature a black anodized steel facing and pounded copper top with blown glass light fixtures and a model locomotive perched beneath the antique tin ceiling. Three booths, including one with a fireplace, will line one side of the bar space. Iron Horse’s glass doors, meanwhile, will open onto the surrounding patio, where guests can dine and drink alfresco. Iron Horse reflects the latest entry in restaurateurs Mason, Alan, and Curtis Wong's 10-year collaboration with Shopworks, the Napa-based design firm that has helped craft the look of Cafeteria 15L, Firestone Public House, and Mix Downtown. Executive Chef Christian Palmos will oversee the menu at Iron Horse Tavern.

Tired of fancy, overpriced, or lettuce-green restaurants? Well, if you are looking for a true "meat-and-potatoes" restaurant to enjoy the night out with your family or watching the game with your buddies, look no further than Trail's Restaurant in Sacramento! We are the last true char-broiler restaurant in town, which means we make BBQ food the way it is meant to be...fresh, juicy, meat-off-the-bone goodness. We feature our famous BBQ Pork Ribs (slow-cooked over 24 hours for the perfect tenderness and juice), BBQ 1/2 chicken, Shish-k-bobs (easy on the veggies), fried chicken wings, and NY Steak the way you want it. Also, Trail's is known for its special house BBQ sauce on pork ribs, homemade to perfection. It perfectly blends the spice of western style BBQ with the sweet tang of eastern flavor. Trust us, you have never tasted a BBQ sauce like this before...our sauce was even recognized as one of Sactown's Top 10 BBQ sauces! Awesome sauce is awesome. Couple that with a cold brew or milkshake, NFL Football on the flatscreen, and you have a place to be with your buddies or family! Our staff is friendly and our restaurant is suited for everyone, so come on down! Meet the big man himself, Gin, who will be tending to your experience and food. You might want to speak up a little louder with him, though, because all those awesome years of BBQ'ing the best meat in Sac isn't easy! Most Popular Menu Items: BBQ Ribs (no baby backs here, this is the real deal) - $14.45 BBQ Chicken - $11.95 Shish-K-Bobs (minimal veggies) - $11.50 We also have hamburgers, hot dogs, fish, french dip, and sandwiches. Some salad as well, if you so desire. The. Best. BBQ. That is all.

I love Chicago Pizza! The concept of this restaurant was born of the desire to enjoy the wonderful flavors and textures unique to Chicago Pizza myself, and also to share them with others. Researching Chicago Pizza and what makes it so special is somewhat of an obsession with me. I started making pizza after I moved to California from the Chicago suburb of Palatine, Illinois in 1986. This research is ongoing with trips to Chicago to taste pizza, interview restaurant owners and employees, meet with specialty food purveyors, as well as conduct a fair amount of corporate espionage. (Dumpster Diving). Anyway, I have gone to great lengths to make sure that the recipes, ingredients, equipment, and processes used here at Chicago Fire are in keeping with the way great pizza is made in Chicago. I believe that you are about to experience the most intensely researched Chicago Pizza outside of Chicago, Illinois. Enjoy! ~Eric Schnetz
