Serenity West Recording is a haven for music makers of all kinds. We have several large format rooms as well as "production" rooms. All rooms feature full array of vintage outboard gear, piles of outboard synths, cutting edge audio production plug-ins and instruments to create the perfect track. SuperSoul Monday is an unplugged vibe with a live music experience featuring an 8 piece band, led by Jason Joseph. A stellar lineup of touring musicians perform 2 shows every Monday night with an up-tempo and continuous impromptu style for dancing and audience participation. Special guests and surprise performances are not rare at this weekly get down of funk, soul and jazz. SuperSoul Monday first began in 2008 and has grown exponentially over the past 5 years. In between sets, deejays play your favorite throwback tunes and new dance tracks. Doors open at 9:30pm to a live lounge with legendary jazz music in it's roots, accommodating seated table service and standing room for dancing as well as an extendable East Asian outdoor patio.
Located in the heart of Hollywood since 1971, Grandmaster has played host to hundreds of classic artists and albums. At center of attention is the 1973 Neve 8028 Console. The last standard Class A Neve the company ever built. Come in and look around at the unique and original design of Grandmaster Recorders, Ltd, a studio that has put its sonic stamp on some of your favorite albums. Grandmaster Recorders was designed by the legendary Don Davis, a man known for his groundbreaking approach to acoustic design. His trademarks are all over the studio, in every room. From his use of black walnut in the Wood Room to provide punch and clarity, to his unique bass reflex/diffuser design in the Drum Room to enable an incredibly well balanced room sound for drums and other instruments. In addition to these unique rooms, Grandmaster Recorders also features a large warehouse space (112’ x 50’ x 20’) complete with stage for tracking as well. Not only has this space been responsible for some well known sounds, but it also serves as the studio’s private parking. Grandmaster Recorders also features a private lobby and lounge for the client. This enables the artist to work uninterrupted, yet be in one of the fastest growing, bustling communities in the heart of Hollywood. Just outside the studio doors is some of the best and up and coming restaurants and bars, movie theatres, and record stores.
Ocean Way Recording was the name of a series of recording studios located in Los Angeles, California and Nashville, Tennessee. Originally known as a two-building complex in Hollywood called United Western Recorders, the United site was sold to Allen Sides, who renamed it to Ocean Way Recording in 1988.In 1999, the building located on 6050 Sunset Boulevard was partitioned and sold as EastWest Studios. Ocean Way retained the other building and continued to operate on 6000 Sunset Boulevard. In 2015, it was sold and renamed to United Recording Studios.BackgroundThe original United Western studios, constructed in 1952, was the home of many major recording sessions in the 1960s and 1970s. Bill Putnam, the original owner and partner, Jerry Barnes, sold the studio operations to Harman Industries along with UREI (United Recording Electrical Industries) in 1982. Allen Sides purchased the United property in 1988, and renamed it Ocean Way Recording. He had been leasing Studio B in United for 2 years previously.In 1999, the original Ocean Way/Western Recorders facility at 6000 Sunset Blvd. was sold to Cello Recording Studios (now EastWest Studios ), and Sides retained the building next door at 6050 Sunset Blvd.LocationsTwo additional studios were later added to the Ocean Way Family; Record One studios in Sherman Oaks in 1988, and Ocean Way/Nashville opened on famed Music Row in 1997. The Ocean Way Nashville facility was later sold to Belmont University. Ocean Way recording now carries on business at two locations - Hollywood and Sherman Oaks.

NICK CLOW AND LUCIANA CAPORASO: In 2004 Nick Clow and Luciana Caproaso began writing toplines together and their partnership has produced many classic Billboard hits, including Bodyrox “Yeah Yeah”, Kylie Minogue’s “Cupid boy”, Tiao Cruz’s “Come on Girl” and Richard Vision, Static Revenger and Luciana’s “I like that”. JEZZABELL DORAN: Jezzabell Doran is a singer/model/actress from Sydney Australia. She is featured on Flume’s hit single “Sleepless” and is currently working on her debut album. PAUL HARRIS: Paul Harris is a DJ artist, writer, producer, and remixer based in South London, whose career began at the early age of 16 as a DJ, building a loyal cult following spinning at legendary London clubs like Milk Bar and Ministry of Sound during the mid 90s. He is best known for his Grammy-winning dance music band Dirty Vegas, whose debut hit “Days Go By” became one of the most requested tracks on American radio and lead to numerous awards, including a Grammy for Best Dance Single. Paul’s production and remix credits include work with Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Fatboy Slim, Richard “Biff” Standard, Karen Poole, Makeba Riddick, Gary Clark, Kish Mauve, Andy Chatterly, Ladyhawke, Blondefire, Lorie, and Jay P, having released a slew of tracks under various guises. Most recently, Paul has been working with Mr Hudson on the BIGKids album and writing with new artist Jetta. TRACKLACERS: Tracklacers are the Grammy nominated producing and songwriting duo of Steve Daly and John Keep, based equally in London and Los Angeles. Their unique and outrageous pop sound has led them to collaborate with international superstars like Cher, Sir Paul McCartney, Chris Martin and Robbie Williams. Recently, the duo has worked with artists such as Pink, Christina Aguilera, Lana Del Rey, The Saturdays, Afrojack, and Danja.
