The Veterans Student Organization, is composed and operated by the Veteran students and Alumni of Maryville University.
The Student Nurses' Association (SNA) fosters the professional development of future nurses by providing educational resources, leadership opportunities, and career guidance. It also promotes and encourages student participation in interdisciplinary activities. We focus on community and university service through different volunteer opportunities that are oriented toward the nursing field, including, but not limited to: - Ronald McDonald Nights - Local Fundraising Walks - Blood Drives and Health Fairs - Donations to Local Community Centers During our meetings we have professional nurses from different fields come and talk to us about their department of nursing. In the past, we have had nurses from the pediatric units, intensive care units, and emergency departments; flight nurses, psychiatric nurses, home health, the Global Medical Brigade, and many more come to make presentations.
The Chancel Choir is part of an active music ministry at Manchester United Methodist Church that involves more than 600 persons of all ages who sing, ring or play an instrument to the glory of God. The program consists of 19 choral and handbell groups including six youth choral groups, two adult choirs, five handbell groups, and small ensembles that include adult and youth praise teams, a select choir, and a gospel quartet.
We are here to create an open and welcoming space catered to the African American student body of Maryville's campus, focusing on cultural awareness, community outreach, personal and intellectual growth, and student support.
