The REP is a professional theatre for young audiences with a mission to enlighten, entertain and enrich children and adults by producing theatre of exceptional quality. The award winning REP Youth Academy provides classes, camps and workshops for children along with professional development opportunities to local classroom teachers. Housed in a three-theatre complex in Loch Haven Park, The REP is also home to the University of Central Florida’s MFA in Theatre for Young Audiences graduate program.

The 2016 25th Annual Orlando Fringe Festival takes place May18th-30th in Orlando's Ivanhoe Village. Venue locations are within Lowndes Shakespeare Center, Orlando Rep (corner of Princeton and Mills)-812 East Rollins Street, and The Venue (Virginia Dr.). Kid's Fringe is located on the lawn of the Mennello Museum of American Art (across Princeton from Loch Haven).

The Winter Park Playhouse is an intimate, Off- Broadway style theatre located minutes away from beautiful Park Avenue. It specializes in new and rarely seen musical comedies and revues on the Mainstage, and "New York style" cabarets in the beautiful lobby bar.

Directed by Justin J. Sacramone, David Mamet’s furiously paced satire about the toxic movie industry is a three scene, one act play about Bobby Gould and Charlie Fox, two mid-level movie producers. Bobby and Charlie have come up the ladder of success together at a fast rate despite their age. The play opens just days after Bob has received a promotion. Working under the title “Head of Production” and armed with a contract that allows him to greenlight one project a year, his lifelong loyal friend brings him a script to guarantee them both a large fortune. Speed-the-Plow is an industry term which means “do you work”. The play tears apart an industry that is only concerned with making movies that make money. Here, David Mamet hilariously composes the argument of doing something for artistic virtue vs. financial greed
