Our STD Program Focuses On: 1. Clinical Services We offer full service walk-in STI/HIV testing offered by a medical provider. For full STI screening, we operate on a walk-in basis, no appointments are provided. HIV only testing may be scheduled the day of the visit. Residency is not required. And based on MO state law, parental permission is not required. All services (exam, test, medication) are offered at no cost. All we require is a picture ID, and your patience. 2. Education/Outreach/Collaboration The focus of our STD education is on knowing your body, knowing your status, preventing disease acquisition, and resource referral. 3. Disease Intervention We focus on shortening the gap between diagnosis and treatment, and treatment for partners. We can assist with confidential partner notification, linkage to care

In Business for Over 40 Years The Missouri Career Center - Saint Louis County is part of a national network of workforce development professionals. The mission of the Missouri Career Center is to serve as a community and business partnership supporting economic development with a qualified workforce. The "One Stop" concept focuses on providing a variety of employment training services for the residents of Saint Louis County. Career Center partners include: Better Family Life, Inc.; International Institute; MERS/Goodwill; St. Louis Community College; and the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis. Funding for the Missouri Career Center - Saint Louis County is through a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor & the Missouri State Division of Workforce Development through a grant to the Saint Louis County Department of Human Services. All services are offered at no fee. Governance for the Missouri Career Center - Saint Louis County is provided by the Workforce Investment Boa rd. The Board is comprised of highly respected corporate and community leaders representing a diverse, cross-section of Saint Louis County. Each Board member lends his/her expertise to ensure that Saint Louis County remains competitive in the metropolitan area by providing meaningful employment opportunities and attracting new businesses.
