Since 1961, Bavarian Meats has been hand-crafting exactly what German-American sausage makers are supposed to hand-craft: over 50 types of sausages, wieners, cold cuts, smoked meats, and salami. As a third-generation family owned and operated business, we use the same beloved recipes that Max Hofstatter (Grandpa Max) brought over from Munich in 1933. We take immense sausage-maker pride in everything we create – using only the finest natural ingredients and Old World preparation methods.

Preparing the meal with a glass of wine in hand, listening to music, chatting with the early arrivals and enlisting their aid in the final preparations. As our own Chef Alexandra advised her California Culinary Academy students, "Keep it simple: buy fresh, good quality ingredients - and then stay out of their way!" To that end, we've tasted every item we stock; we sell only the things we've fallen in love with. UNLIKE ANY PICKLE AVAILABLE TODAY, OUR RAW LIVE CULTURE FOODS ARE BROUGHT TO FRUITION IN HANDMADE OAK BARRELS! Oak barrels are perfect containers for fermenting foods. The natural tannins in the wood help lower the pH of the brine, which in turn helps the lactic acid bacteria take over and preserve the vegetables. THE RICH REWARDS INHERENT IN NATURE! The unique process of fermenting vegetables using lactic acid bacteria, which has been used for thousands of years, allows Britt’s Pickles to retain the rich rewards of the natural enzymes and vitamins in vegetables, even in the middle of winter. Natural fermentation interacts with the sugars in the cucumbers, garlic, and spices, transforming them into lactic acid & CO2. A LIVE CULTURE FOOD THAT IS FULL OF PROBIOTIC ACTIVITY!

Herbn' Farm NW grows herbs on an urban farm in Seattle, WA. The herbs are incorporated into a variety of culinary rubs, vinegars, teas, and sauces available for purchase online and at the historic Pike Place Market. Herbn' Farm NW was founded by Ras Levi Peynado four years ago. Ras was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Growing up, his mother worked as a craftsperson at the Pike Place Market and eventually became Market Master and Farm Program Manager. His father lived and died in Jamaica where he was a fourth generation farmer... and a very humble Rasta man. After a trip to Jamaica, Ras decided to follow in his parents footsteps. In 2010, Ras began growing herbs on an urban farm while developing recipes with his friends and family.
