Senior year is not going to be easy class of 2016. Student’s safety has been jeopardized. Participation rates are going down (less than 20% participation to senior trip). There are numerous problems and concerns when signing leases prematurely and to top of it all off, the job market is so competitive that some of us will struggle to find employment when we graduate. I have the necessary qualifications and experience to get the job done. By working with students to generate ideas, I have helped to transform the Washington University community by providing numerous initiatives through the University Initiative committee in SU’s senate. Now I am taking the next step to get the remaining job done! Following are some of the goals that would be on my priority list: 1) Senior nights (Yes we have senior week but would you just want to see your entire class only when you are graduating or you want to cherish most of the time you have spent together through out the year) 2) Work with on-campus residential life and off-campus housing offices to ensure all the seniors living off-campus have the best possible resources available. 3) Work with the WUSTL Career Center to ensure all the necessary information is provided to seniors as a priority. Also. held workshops to ensure that seniors feel prepared to face the real world. 4) Senior giving: Not just to leave a legacy but to make history! 5) Senior trip to Chicago with a greater participation. 6) And last but not the least, Senior Week: We all mostly know what senior week is comprised off but to ensure the excitement, there will be an extra event added to the itinerary which will only be disclosed during the finals week. You have had great 3 years, Class of 2016, but THE BEST IS YET TO COME. ---Agrawal4President
