The UMSL Ambassador program is an award-winning volunteer organization of University of Missouri–St. Louis. The Ambassadors are current students whose primary purpose is to represent and promote a positive image of the university by assisting the Office of University Events throughout the year. Benefits: Being an UMSL Ambassador gives students the opportunity to interact with community and university leaders, while working with other UMSL students with similar goals. The experiences with the UMSL Ambassador program will allow them to cultivate their communication skills, leadership abilities, and professional skills for future career opportunities. Requirements: UMSL Ambassadors must be exemplary citizens of the campus and community. They must be a current UMSL student and maintain a 2.7 GPA. Monthly meetings are held for trainings and educational seminars. An UMSL Ambassador must commit to volunteering for a minimum 3 events each semester, in addition to at least one commencement ceremony per semester (May- 4 ceremonies & December- 2 ceremonies) unless this is your graduation ceremony. There are also opportunities to volunteer for August commencement. The Matsakis Hellenic Culture Center at the University of Missouri-St. Louis is a place where scholars, students, and community members are welcome to immerse themselves in the culture and history of Greece - both international and locally. The Center is a resource for political, educational, cultural, travel, and business information. THE NICHOLAS AND THEODORA MATSAKIS HELLENIC CULTURE CENTER INCLUDES: • The KARAKAS FAMILY LIBRARY filled with general interest books and periodicals on ancient, Byzantine, and modern Greece as well as a collection of current brochures, informational booklets, and other printed materials from Greek public and private organizations including subscriptions to major Greek newspapers and magazines. • The ANDREW DIMAROGONAS MEDIA CENTER that holds a computer with access to the internet and updated bookmarks for major Greek portals and Web sites. Also, the Media Center includes a collection of educational and informational videos and computer programs about Greece that are available for use in the Center. • The MARY E. CRITZAS ARCHIVES OF THE GREEK-AMERICAN COMMUNITY that will detail the history of the local Greek-American community, including the documents resulting from the Oral History project. • The MARY E. CRITZAS GALLELRY OF GREEK ART that hosts a permanent exhibition of replicas of ancient and Byzantine Greek art as well as temporary exhibits by modern Greek artists. This museum is the only one of its kindin St. Louis and is a major attraction for locals and tourists interested in Greek culture. Furthermore, it will be used for classes and lectures on Greek art and culture. * The HELLENIC SPIRIT FOUNDATION CONFERENCE ROOM that is available for a number of events and activities related to Greek culture including lectures, films, meetings, and performances. We continue to seek funds to build an endowment to operate the Center in perpetuity. This fund will allow for the Center to expand and offer new and exciting educational opportunities.

The main goal of KSO is to help Korean students to adjust to the educational system and help in their acclimation while they are studying in this University.
The Community Builders Network of Metropolitan St. Louis is a network of non-profit community development corporations looking to grow the sector in the St. Louis Region by increasing the capacity of organizations and developing a more supportive community development system. While just beginning, the Network is focused on: -increasing individual organization capacity; -engaging the community development support system including government, foundations, banks and corporations; -providing the sector a collective voice in public dialogue; -raising the profile of community development in the St. Louis Region. First Baptist Church of Northwoods is autonomous and maintains the right to govern its own affairs, independent of any denominational control.
