Walb Student Union has much to offer the IPFW campus and the Fort Wayne community, from small group meeting space to accommodations for conferences up to 300 people. In addition to a renovated ballroom with an upscale look and updated meeting spaces, Walb Union has several large, comfortable lounges. A small casual dining area is available in The Stomping Grounds located on the ground floor of Walb Union.
Christmas of 2011 we made our first geek themed chocolate as Christmas presents for our like minded friends...they were the play on words item, Han Rolo. Our chocolate version of Han Solo in Carbonite complete with a gooey caramel center. They were a hit and the idea of Sweets So Geek was born. We provide intellectual flavor combinations with a fanatic love of pop culture.

Dedicated on October 11, 2011 at the 13th annual IPFW Alumni Mastodon Roast, the Steel Dynamics Keith E. Busse IPFW Alumni Center is a distinctive gathering place: Located on the West side of the St. Joseph River the Alumni Center is a lodge-like retreat which included a spacious foyer, grand lobby and connecting patio, catering facilities, conference room, meeting space, and the administrative home for Alumni Relations staff at IPFW. The IPFW Alumni Center was funded by individual and corporate donations. The Steel Dynamics Foundation, in conjunction with SDI Chairman and CEO Keith E. Busse, provided the structure and significant oversight of the project. Individual alumni and friends of IPFW contributed by providing the funding for the furnishings. Any IPFW alumni can rent the board room for free during normal business hours and rent additional spaces in the facility at 50% off. Reserve our facility today!

The Office of Special Events offers a variety of services to the IPFW Community. Event venues ranging from intimate meeting rooms to concert halls that seat 1500+ in an acoustically excellent and ADA friendly environment. Outdoor venues that can accommodate up to 10,000 of your guests as well as audio visual technology and support. IPFW Special Events has grown since beginning in 2007 from a 10 meeting rooms and 2 performance spaces to offer support for over 50 + venues on campus equaling over 1,200 events each year.
