BBVA Compass Stadium, an AEG Facility, is a state-of-the-art, open-air stadium designed to host Houston Dynamo matches, Houston Dash matches, and Texas Southern University football games as well as additional professional, collegiate and community sporting events, concerts, exhibitions, conventions and special events. Opened on May 12, 2012, the 340,000-square foot, 22,000-seat stadium is the first soccer-specific stadium in Major League Soccer located in a city’s downtown district. With its downtown location, the new stadium is a part of a true ‘Stadium District,’ which includes Minute Maid Park and the Toyota Center, as well as the George R. Brown Convention Center, Discovery Green, Warehouse Live and House of Blues.

Big Shots Classic is proud to announce another exciting tournament for 2014. The third annual Big Shots Classic will be held at the legendary Fonde Recreational Center and feature some of Houston’s premier talent in basketball. With over 1,500 in attendance in last years tournament, and expecting an even larger crowd this year... we are proud to include a girl’s basketball game in 2014! Some of the schools featured in the 2014 BIG SHOTS CLASSIC are Bush High School (boys), Bush High School (girls), the always exciting Yates High School, Booker T. Washington High School, hi High School, and Opelouses High School from Louisiana We appreciate the Houston community for coming out and supporting our student athletes as well as our sponsors for making the Big Shots Classic a great experience for the players.
