Rayburn Music was founded in 1939 by Ray Sternburg, son of Boston Symphony Orchestra Percussionist Simon Sternburg. Located on Boston's famed "Avenue of the Arts," Rayburn Music prides itself on offering the largest selection of new and used woodwind and brass instruments/accessories in New England. We are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and support and are eager to help you in any way we can! Contact us with any questions!
We are a 100% student-run and donation-based free-store located in the basement of the Kennedy building, around the corner from the MassArt/MCPHS Bookstore. We are open to the public and we love new visitors and donators! If you are interested in picking up a shift or learning more about volunteering, contact us through this page or via email at [email protected] We accept most objects for donation--basically anything that won't mold or explode! If you have something to drop off, but can't bring it by during our open hours, or if you are wondering what we like to receive, please don't hesitate to contact us and we can arrange a donation time or direct you to our ReStore bins around campus.
