Famed architect John Portman’s soaring atria and cloud-grazing glass elevators grace skyscrapers around the world, but no city better embodies his postmodern aesthetic than his hometown of Atlanta. Portman shaped the city’s skyline throughout the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s, and today, the architect has reimagined one of his original designs — 230 Peachtree Center — to include the new Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown. From the curved, glass-and-steel staircase that greets you in the lobby to our sleek guest rooms, nods to Portman’s midcentury design merge seamlessly with the latest technology and amenities. Easy access to downtown’s biggest draws — including AmericasMart, another Portman work, accessible via skywalk — make our location perfect for business and leisure travelers alike. After a day on the town, settle in for a cocktail at our circular bar, where a floating glass-and-steel canopy mirrors our grand staircase, or enjoy dinner at JP Atlanta. Inside and out, you’ll feel Atlanta’s design history come to life.. The hotel is located near Atlanta gems including Centennial Olympic Park, the Tabernacle, Rialto Center for the Arts, College Football Hall of Fame, Georgia Aquarium, and CNN Center.

If you are a ProgPowerUSA veteran, you know about the epic after parties at the Artmore Hotel Courtyard. Or maybe you are new and haven't discovered it yet. Or maybe you're looking for a reason to get your indecisive buddy to buy his tickets. In any event, The Courtyard is the place to be after the last band has left Center Stage for the evening. The Courtyard after parties are another epic layer of icing on the ProgPowerUSA cake. Amazing encounters and shenanigans are had well into the morning hours. Here you can shoot the shit with your favorite band members and get to know your metal family better (maybe too well). All you have to do is stumble a few blocks from the venue. Here is a place to share your stories and photos and let everyone know how awesome this festival is. Even if your amazing story didn't happen in The Courtyard, share it here! See you at The Courtyard! \m/
