OneSTL is a 3-year planning process that is being funded through a grant received by East-West Gateway and 10 core partners with the goal of fostering economically competitive, opportunity-rich communities that serve as the backbone of a healthy St. Louis region. The final plan will be (1) a set of measurable goals drawn from local input and knowledge, and supported by factual research that will guide local and regional decision making and (2) a collection of recommended model ordinances, strategies, and plans that may be used by local governments and citizens to further these goals. St Louis Community Re-entry Program for Ex-offenders ORGANIZATION OBJECTIVE STATEMENTS Mission Statement To integrate successful intervention principles and practices resulting in collaborative partnerships that enhance ex-offender self-sufficiency, reduce recidivism, and improve public safety and community health in St. Louis City and County DOBB (dress out box boutique) 1 set of clothing and shoes sent to prisoners upon leaving prison & entering the St. Louis Community Reentry Program for Ex-Offenders Minister Nathaniel Johnson has been in the prison ministry since 1991, first connected with St. Vincent DePaul Society after reentering society himself from prison in 1990, Nathaniel Johnson began volunteering to help other ex-offenders coming home to and unsafe and unknown environment. in 2005 Minister Johnson founded/directed The Freedom House Ministry along with St. Louis Community Reentry Program for Ex-Offenders. Since then he has added support groups, job search, bible study groups, transitional living house, life skills and GED services to this AWESOME program and now St. Louis Community Reentry Program for Ex-Offenders has added the DOBB = dress out box boutique program
St. Louis Bicycle Works, the charter program of St. Louis BWorks, was founded in 1988 with the idea that everyone deserves the chance to pursue their dreams. The foundation of St. Louis Bicycle works is our Earn-a-Bike program, which gives kids the chance to earn a free bike while they learn about bicycle safety and maintenance from our volunteers. About 50 kids graduate from the program every year, earning their own bike, helmet, light and lock. Through our Earn-a-Bike program and other work, we have provided over 10,000 bikes to inner-city kids over the past 24 years. St. Louis Bicycle Works also features a bike shop where anyone can purchase fully refurbished bikes, with all proceeds benefitting St. Louis BWorks programs directly.

Neighboring the Soulard and Lafayette Square neighborhoods of south St. Louis City, Kingdom House has been transforming the lives of individuals since 1902. We serve 9,000 people annually. Through our holistic programming, we empower kids and adults to journey down pathways out of poverty to self-sufficiency and economic independence.
The Mission Continues is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization empowers veterans who are adjusting to life at home to find purpose through community impact. We deploy veterans on new missions in their communities, so that their actions will inspire future generations to serve. Our operations in cities across the country deploy veteran volunteers alongside non-profit partners and community leaders to solve some of the most challenging issues facing our communities: improving community education resources, eliminating food deserts, mentoring at-risk youth and more. Through this unique model, veterans build new skills and networks that help them successfully reintegrate to life after the military while making long-term, sustainable transformations in communities and inspiring future generations to serve.
