The building opened in the fall of 1970 with new additions constructed in 1990 and 1993. The most spectacular feature of the building is its three-story Arthur Voerg Commons area, completed in 1993. A gathering place for students and faculty, the commons provides a focal point for the school. The lighted athletic stadium provides excellent facilities for football, track, baseball and soccer. OHS is handicapped-accessible and is on a public transportation route.
