It is located adjacent to the River Front East complex, on the north bank of the Miami River in Downtown. The building is located on Southwest 3rd Street and Miami Avenue. It is 501 ft (153 m) tall and has 41 floors. Floors 1-8 are used for parking, while floor 10 houses the building's recreation center, consisting of a pool area, racquetball court and fitness facility. The residential lobby is on the first floor. Floors 11-41 are used for residential units. The architect is Revuelta Vega Leon, who also designed the River Front East complex.

500 Brickell is a residential complex in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida, United States. The complex consists of two condominium towers, 500 Brickell West Tower and 500 Brickell East Tower. The two buildings were designed as twin towers, and rise 426 feet (130 meters), with 42 floors. Both skyscrapers were designed by the Arquitectonica architectural firm, and the complex was developed by Thomas Kramer's Portofino Group in partnership with the Related Group of Florida. The towers' construction began in April 2005, was topped out in mid-2007 and was completed in 2008. From 2012 to 2014 a smaller building named myBrickell was built directly to the west of 500 Brickell, on the same lot. It was the first high-rise building built in Miami after the Great Recession, and sold out in 2014.Design500 Brickell was originally designed to emulate a giant arch. Both towers are connected by a 10-story base, and the top floors of the two towers are also connected by a large white roof. The roof was designed with a circular hole to direct light into the courtyard formed between the two buildings, in which a large pool will be located.

The complex contains three main towers, "Mint" and "The Ivy" and "Wind." The taller of the three, Mint, is currently the 6th-tallest building in Miami and Florida. Construction began in 2007 and the tower was completed 2009."Cima" tower was proposed for the southeast corner of the Riverfront Complex but was never built. It was proposed to begin in 2006 and be completed by 2008. The tower was proposed to have 471 residential units with a height of 52 floors.The final phase of the development was supposed to be Riverfront Phase IV, a 334ft, 22-story building which would have been located to the west of the three towers. The Riverfront Retail Center was proposed to connect the buildings at the lower floors and was to be dedicated to retail. The towers were to be used for condominiums, apartments, and office space. The Miami Riverwalk and the Riverwalk Metro Station would have been incorporated into the development. The complex is bordered by Southwest 3rd Street to the north, the Miami River to the south, Southwest 1st Avenue to the east, and Southwest 4th Avenue to the west. It is served by the Riverwalk and Miami Avenue Metromover stations, which connect to the Metrorail at Government Center and Brickell stations. The architect is Revuelta Vega Leon.

The Palm Cottage is a historic home in Miami, Florida. It is the last known building in Miami directly associated with railroad magnate and developer Henry M. Flagler. It is also one of the city's few surviving examples of Folk Victorian architecture. Built around 1897, this house was one of at least 30 rental houses that Flagler constructed as homes for the workers building his Royal Palm Hotel. The building was moved to Fort Dallas Park in 1980, located at 60 Southeast 4th Street. On January 4, 1989, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
