Patrick Connolly of County Galway, Ireland, began his barkeep career in 1942 when he opened the Pat Connolly Tavern, and for two decades he worked to create a St. Louis landmark. Although the tavern has changed names and owners over the years, it has now returned to the Connolly family and the original name. We are proud to continue the tradition that Pat started over 70 years ago, offering classic pub fare and fine spirits in a family-friendly atmosphere. We also strive to be active in our community and welcoming to all who walk through our door. We invite you to have your next meal, pint, or event with us!
Renowned as the “Best City Golf in Mid-America”, Forest Park Golf Course is located just minutes from downtown St. Louis. As one of the oldest courses in the St. Louis area, Forest Park Golf Course was originally built as a 9-hole facility in 1912 by Scotsman Robert Foulis. The following year the second 9-hole course was completed and the final 9 was completed in 1915. As the only public golf course in St. Louis city, Forest Park Golf Course offers a true St. Louis golf experience for golfers of all skill and ability levels. After the redesign that was completed in 2004, Forest Park Golf Course now features three separate 9-hole courses which can combine to bring you one of St. Louis’s most unique golfing experiences. Nestled inside the largest city park in the United States, Forest Park Golf Course and the award winning clubhouse offer beautiful views of the golf course and surrounding park attractions. Whether you are looking to host a private or corporate event, the clubhouse at Forest Park Golf Course can accommodate up to 250 guests. With its convenient location just outside downtown St. Louis, Forest Park Golf Course offers magnificent views through floor-to-ceiling windows of the surrounding golf course, lake and waterfall. At Forest Park Golf Course we have had a long history of welcoming groups and events to our courses. We appreciate your interest in having an event at our facility. Our commitment to service has never been stronger and we are sure that you will find the quality of our facility is equal to or exceeds that of any other public course in the region.
