111 Minna Gallery – BIO (The art of 111 Minna) Eiming Jung founded 111 Minna Gallery and opened its doors in 1993 at 111 Minna Street in the SOMA district of San Francisco. This location would later become the heart of the up and coming art district, which has now been solidified with the construction of the SF MOMA, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and countless progressive galleries emerging in the surrounding area. Litquake seeks to foster interest in literature for people of all ages, perpetuate a sense of literary community, and provide a vibrant forum for writing from the Bay Area and beyond as a complement to the city’s music, film, and cultural festivals. Litquake is a project of the Litquake Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit registered in the state of California.

The Yerba Buena Community Benefit District was approved by district property owners in 2008 to improve the quality of life in the area. Our mission is to provide programs that foster a safer and more secure community, create a cleaner and greener neighborhood, and reinforce the viability of our economic base. We began implementing programs in 2009. They include a Community Guides program, 10B police officer program, graffiti removal, street and sidewalk cleaning, marketing and other improvement efforts. A neighborhood defined by its diversity Our downtown San Francisco district is defined by an incredible diversity of residents, cultural offerings and businesses from about Second to Fifth and Market to Harrison Streets. It bustles with world-class museums, shopping, dining, convention space, hotels, and educational institutions. It includes a variety of housing from senior housing and below market rate housing to luxury condominiums and live/work lofts. YBCBD is perhaps the most dynamic district in the City – a celebration of San Francisco’s eclectic backbone. Louie’s is a slightly more sophisticated version of its sister bar, the Tempest, though still maintains its dive bar DNA with exposed brick walls, long-standing regulars and unassuming vibe.
