The National Archives at St. Louis is home to the largest Federal records collection outside of NARA's Washington, DC, and College Park, Maryland, locations. The St. Louis facilities hold more than a 100 million civilian and military personnel records dating back to the 19th century. These records tell the story of American men and women who served this country, some of whom rose to national and international prominence as civilian employees or members of the military.
