Pain Ink has been efficiently serving the New York community since 1997. We have over 13 years of expertise and our artistic talents are illustrated through our clients and their tattoos! Pain Ink specializes in, but is not limited to all styles of body art, from traditional, large scale work, tribal, custom, new-school and portrait work. feel free to bring in your own designs, or ask us to sketch something for you as we welcome unique work. Walk-ins are welcomed, but appointments are best for the reason that there are times that the artists may be reserved in advance. We also offer consultations with each and every client to better understand the needs of every individual who gets tattooed in the studio. Pain Ink promotes the uppermost standards in tattooing. We pride ourselves on making every visit to the studio enjoyable in a secure hygienic atmosphere.
Valarte was born out of a desire to combine and bring to the world, the things that move me the most: art and texture, sight and touch. Born in Colombia and cultivated in NY, I was exposed to both art and fabrics all my life. I guess you could say it was woven into my soul. After a decade of working in fashion and travelling the world identifying trends and sourcing unique pieces as a profession, now I have the opportunity to channel my talents through Valarte for my own fulfillment. The first product that touched my heart is interesting enough a hand made creation from my homeland. Found in Cartagena and produced in the region of Chorrera by women that support their families. These pieces exemplified the qualities that are dear to my heart. With an intricate texture combined with a moving iconic art image, it touched, moved and inspired me. These are the types of pieces that Valarte chooses design, curate and bring to the market. Valarte’s mission is to source and promote unique pieces that touch, move and inspire your personal and life style.
