A NEHEMIAH PROJECT: 2: 17-18 17 Then I said to them, “You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.” 18 And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king’s words that he had spoken to me.
Rev. EARL E. NANCE, JR. - PASTOR REV. EDDIE C. JONES - ASSISTANT TO THE PASTOR Our church, over the years, has a stirring legacy of service to the community, the city, and the region. We have answered the call to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, support and warm in the winter. We have worked effectively and prayerfully to extend our ministry beyond four walls of our church building into a world hungry for what Jesus Christ has to offer. Our congregation is reminded that we serve God by serving others. My prayer is that we will be a gathering of God's people who are standing on the word of God, seeking the Will of God, sure in our Worship of God, and steadfast in the work of God.

Mt. Esther Missionary Baptist Church, also known in short as The Mount, is a church of LOVE. As a smaller church, we are blessed to know one another personally and call each other family. We are accepting and full of embrace in understanding that everyone is on a different journey at a separate pace. Songs of praise, active ministries and the word of God will meet you after we greet you. Our prayer each day we worship is that our ministry has been effective and pleasing to God. We welcome you in the name of Christ into this house to worship, and hope that when you leave, you will have the peace of God inside.

Bridge of Hope Community Church Creed We believe all of the Bible comes from God and is the authoritative truth of God. We believe that God is all mighty, all knowing, never changing and has created all things. We believe in one eternal God who is three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe God created one human race that rebelled in sin. We believe salvation is being rescued from the lostness and separation from God caused by sin, by being united to Christ, and therefore joined to “the people of God”, who inherit the kingdom He promised. We believe God offers salvation free, by His grace, by means of our faith, and through the atonement won for us by the death and resurrection of His only begotten Son, who is our Lord and our Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe “the people of God”, joined in local congregations, are chosen by God to worship Him, demonstrate His love and tell the “Good News” of Christ to our neighbors, our city, and the world, until Jesus Christ returns.
