Experience the some of the best Sushi and Ethnic dishes here at Aoba in Denver, CO, All carefully hand-made by our Master Sushi Chefs Ken and Mike. History and Background One day, thirteen years ago, after 10 years as a Sushi Chef in Tokyo, I wondered, how and in what fashion the traditional Japanese Sushi culture can be presented to the diverse, multi-cultured Americans? With this curiosity, I traveled to New York in 1999 and worked as a Sushi Chef in New York for over 11 years. In 2010, I came to Denver to visit friends, and fell in love with this city immediately. I started to think of relocating to Denver after visiting the Sushi bars around town and studying the life of a Sushi Chef in Denver. Surprisingly, I found that people here appreciate sushi very much, and this finding made me very happy, because this is something my team can provide. My best friend, Chef Mike (Masatoshi Nakanishi) and I gathered our professional team to establish Aoba Sushi, a unique and stylish sushi restaurant, in the heart of Denver. Our restaurant is based on the traditional spirit of cleaving the original taste (mo chi a ji), and the originality of multicultural tastes (a so bi gokoro). Denver, here we are! We will bring you some of the most unique sushi experiences from Tokyo and the US. East Coast. See you at the sushi bar! Reservations Preferred: (720) 242-7002
