Walter Knott Elementary School, was built on the land of Walter Knott, who was the founder of Knott's Berry Farm, which was the first amusement park here in the United States. Located on La Palma Avenue, near the corner of Western Avenue,which is also the street where the Knott Employee Lot is located, but also the Buena Park Fire Department, serving that area.
