Located in the heart of Green Bay, this cozy cafe boasts not only amazing food but a fun and funky casual atmosphere. Just like the colorful walls created by co-owner and local artist, Holly ("ma"), the menu oozes flavor and originality. The Hungry Cat Burger is one example of an ingenious creation by co-owner and chef, Cory. A half pound burger grilled to your liking, topped with lettuce, tomato & onion then stuffed between two golden brown grilled cheese sandwiches is sure to make your eyes pop and your taste buds scream. Piping hot soups made fresh and delivered with buttery grilled baguettes are definitely the answer to the cold Green Bay afternoons. And let's not forget the Wisconsin Friday Fish Fry. Order the walleye plate and most places give you a piece of fish and cold french fries... We set you up with the biggest portion of deep-fried walleye you've ever seen sided by babycake potatoes, cole slaw, tartar sauce, apple sauce and rye bread. Wash it all down with a cold brew or a made from scratch old fashioned from the bar and you can now say you've had a REAL Wisconsin Friday Night Fish Fry. But wait just a minute...if fish just isn't your thing, then hold on to your britches because Saturday nights we serve up a juicy 10oz Flat Iron Steak with homemade garlic mashed potatoes and onion rings. And let's just say if the perfectly grilled steak doesn't blow you away, the price of $7.00 sure will! Yes, you heard me right - $7.00 for a steak dinner! Speaking of steak...if it's steak and eggs you're looking for, then pop in on a Sunday between 9am and 2pm and have some breakfast. Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict, a Rambo Burger (a burger with an egg on top) or the Heart Attack Stack if you're really hungry are just some of the options to prepare you for a long lazy Sunday afternoon of football. If you feel the need to indulge in one of our super awesome bloodies from our bloody mary menu - I highly recommend the Badger. Cheese curds and a beef stick in my bloody is usually just what the doctor ordered after a long Saturday night. So, whether you're looking for a cool happy hour spot, a quick lunch, or dinner with friends... stop down and see us. We're always happy to have you!

My sister (Brook Sanders) and I (Cara Sanders) are Green Bay born and raised. Like many of you were upset to learn of Jake's Pizza, formerly located at 1149 Main Street Green Bay, shutting its doors. Jake's was always important to us, not only as "Green Bay's Superior Pizza", but also as a Green Bay institution. It has always been known as "Green Bay's Superior Pizza", and not for all the obvious reasons, such as taste and fresh ingredients; but because that's were it all began, Superior, WI. Over 40 years ago Jake brought his hand written recipes with him to Green Bay from Superior shortly after returning from the war. For nearly 40 years Jake provided Green Bay with his "Superior" pizza. Well, we have teamed up with Jake and those very same hand written recipes. Together we are Re-Opening as Jake's Pizza Green Bay located at 112 South Broadway. The only thing we are changing is the address. Jake's Pizza is a part of Green Bay's Heritage and has seen the many changes this city has made. Some good, some bad, but all in the name of progress. That is why the only thing changing is the address. With the original recipes and Jake there to show us what made his pizza superior; it’s our family’s intention to carry on the legacy that Jake and his family started long ago, so that generations to come can have a taste of "Green Bay's Superior Pizza" as it has always been. So please, we ask that you Like Us and Share us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter @jakespizza1 for updates regarding our grand re-opening, some behind the scenes photos of our remodeling and upcoming events. Our blood, sweat and tears will get the doors open, but it will take the love and support of the community to help keep Jake's Pizza around for another 40 years serving up Green Bay's Superior Pizza. Jake's is coming back!!! Woohoo!!! We Love you Green Bay! (and yes...East siders we are bridge worthy..)

The Hinterland Way... Some call it the road less traveled or maybe it's an uphill climb. I look at it as a journey that I set out on years ago. Similiar to paddling a long stretch of river through the Wisconsin wilderness, we're never really sure what's around the next bend. It's been my mission to deliver only the best to those who have graced us with their patronage. In essence, Hinterland is a craft brewery hell bent on perfection and a couple of restaurants delivering a wild harvest to your plate. We hang our hat on preparing tasty, locally-raised food along side an artisanally-made beer from our brewery. Cheers! -Bill Tressler, Owner

While planning our reopening we have been asked many questions. Our family and friends asked about specific menu items. Our new friends questioned what kind of restaurant we were going to have. We did our best returning some favorites, but we had a hard time defining what "kind of restaurant" it is. We finally realized it is undefined! We truly believe that food shouldn't be defined, only your experiences. Our menu is varied, our features will always be to the whim and creativity of our chefs. You may enjoy one of our specialties from our dinner entrees or a yummy salad or sandwich! The one thing we can say without any doubt, is we thank you all for your support and we welcome you all to our "second" home! Dann & Kathy Drews

Erbert & Gerbert’s is a sandwich shop dedicated to serving better, more flavorful sandwiches than anyone else in the universe. We started 20-some years ago in the fine, fine town of Eau Claire, WI, and have since grown to 50 sandwich shops spanning the globe — or at least the United States. You might notice a unique language in the Erbert & Gerbert’s world — sandwiches with names like Narmer, Bornk, and Girf, and an obsession with the idea of Flavornation. What’s that all about? Well, to us, flavor is about more than just sandwiches. It’s about life. Bring us your tired, your hungry, your bored, and we’ll give them flavor. If it doesn’t just fill their bellies but also puts a smile on their face, well, that’s exactly the way we like to do it.
