Chosen by Rolling Stone magazine (RS 813) as "the best place to hear live music in San Francisco"-- and voted "Best Rock Club" by SF Bay Guardian's readers for countless years, including 2008-2012-- the Bottom of the Hill presents some of the finest original artists, nearly seven nights a week. Featuring emerging acts from around the globe as well as our own backyard, Bottom of the Hill's music spans the spectrum from alternative, rock-a-billy, punk, and hard rock, to folk, funk and pop. Some of the amazing acts that cut their teeth here: - Marilyn Manson ('94) - The White Stripes - Korn and the Deftones (double bill in '95) - Kid Rock - The Strokes - Oasis - Beastie Boys (touring as hardcore band Quasar in '96) - Alanis Morissette - Pavement - Sleater-Kinney We're equipped with a full bar, a kitchen that stays open late and a patio area where guests can escape the crowd. The club is also available for private parties, showcases and other events.

Electric SwingSet is San Francisco's home for partner dancing to Retro Electro, the new dance (r)evolution! Heist a caravan of gypsy swing. Smother it with a truckload of Booming House beats. Blend on high until it's frothing at the mouth. Pour the sweet, sizzling elixir onto a dance floor. And what do you get? Electric SwingSet! We specialize in the branch of Electro Swing with a back beat. Both Elctro and Swing are music genres that were designed to make you move.
