I have been baking and canning for 33 years. It was what my family survived on in the winter. We had a nice size garden. We would raise what ever could be canned or frozen for the winter months. It wasn't until a few years ago I thought about doing it again with all the tear round fresh fruit and produce here in South Florida. I began experimenting with mixing fruits to make flavors that I liked, such as Strawberry Banana, Mixed Fruit and so many more. I love to create when cooking, baking or canning. I am a foodie give me a kitchen and supplies and I will make you the best meal you have ever had. My husband often tells me he has never known a woman that can take a few things and make a great meal. I sure hope he hasn't been lying to me all these years. But cooking is my first love, I really do enjoy cooking for others and seeing the pleasure they get out of tasting and eating something for the first time. I guess that is why I love to cook.
