Chef Justin Chan was born in Hong Kong. He was brought up under a very diverse family environment where his mother is a Eurasian of Chinese and Portuguese, while his father is a mix of Chinese and Laotian, which later took a significant place in his influential and creative style of cooking and palette for foods. Chef Justin is an advocate for communicating the value and tastiness of traditional foods with a twist of modern taste and techniques. His specialties are Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Italian cuisines. Apart from few years work experience at Yokoso Japanese Restaurant, where Justin was trained in Japanese chef cooking techniques and making sushi, he is self taught. Justin has been cooking seriously since his early teenage years.
