Promoters Our strategy is to work with enthusiastic promoters and artists, and we're always expanding our network. For more information please email [email protected] Bartenders / Bartenders If you're interested in working in a fun environment and are interested in training to be a bartender with us please come by weeknights from 6 to 8 and ask to fill out an application and request an interview. Gemstones is the biggest club-size venue with built in sound anywhere in the Greater Lowell Area. Artists love it 'cause they can enjoy themselves backstage in the green room before taking to the elevated corner stage with pro audio and stage lighting. Guests love it 'cause there's live music every weekend, 5 exclusive 10 seat VIP booths, plenty of space, and a big bar with friendly skilled bartenders. The Blue Shamrock is a historical bar with a sports bar / hometown feel. For 20 years this bar has served the people of Lowell. Two pool tables, karaoke nights and multiscreen sports games keep people coming in every night for a quick drink and a good time. *The Blue Shamrock and Gemstones are strictly 21+ For all booking / event inquiries contact Krista at 978-294-9822 or email at [email protected]

Lowell's Portuguese community today is made up of immigrants from the Azores, Madeira, and mainland Portugal going as far back as four generations in some cases. We have a natural pride in our traditions and in the global accomplishments of our ancestors. The Portuguese American Center helps the community continue those traditions generation after generation.
