Sept 23rd-25th & Sept 30th-Oct 2nd. The origin of Oktoberfest can be traced back to October 12, 1810, the wedding day of Bavaria’s Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen. Against tradition, the couple invited Munich’s common people to the festivities. The events were held over five days on the fields in front of the city gates now called Theresienwiese (Theresa’s Meadow). Forty thousand people showed up for the celebration. A year later, they decided to throw the party all over again as an anniversary tribute to the royal couple. And so the tradition began…

The Pedal Hopper, known as a "Party Bike" or "Bike Bar," is a group-oriented activity similar to a party bus, but is entirely pedal-powered by you and all of your friends. It is a safe, fun way to do a pub crawl, celebrate a birthday, bachelor/bachelorette parties, weddings, tailgating, you name it! The Pedal Hopper holds up to 16 people (that's 15 seated and one "standee" in the middle as your "bartender"), and cruises at an average of about 5-8mph, the perfect speed for sharing good times. To ensure safety, we provide a driver who steers and brakes the thing so you guys can relax and have fun.
From the Artistic Director: If I had to distill my creative approach to a single phrase, it would be “a shared journey of discovery and possibility.” This has led me to work with an ever-growing list of collaborating artists and organizations. These undertakings have produced artistic creations that erase boundaries between mediums, and engage artists and audiences in candid explorations of the human experience. I cherish these intimate journeys and the relationships that have grown out of them. They have changed me at my core and drive me to ask more of myself each day. They have opened worlds to me and left me dumbfounded, unable to fathom my own great fortune in knowing such remarkable human beings. I see these projects as metaphors for our capacity to create change in our world. To truly understand one another, we must move beyond conversation and actively engage in the creation of something new. Only then can we appreciate the expansive beauty of our shared humanity. We live in a remarkable age. Humanity continues its journey of astonishing intellectual discovery. The boundless strength of the human spirit is persistently illuminated in ways big and small. But at our core, we are still primal creatures, children of our forebears, wrestling with fears and failings, and driven by instincts hard-wired across the ages. These collisions of capacity, courage and compulsion are what define us. We must revel in our complexity, we must embrace it, celebrate it, and be bound to it. We must reach far into our past and strive relentlessly toward our future. We must be forthright about our frailties and lay bare our souls. We must dream, we must work, we must be rigorous. Only then might we glimpse the true possibility that resides within all of us. This is the essence of Wonderbound. – Garrett Ammon

Cocks-Clark Graphics (CCG) was founded by William M. Cocks and Chas. A. Clark. Through their collaboration, they gained entry into Denver's printing industry as Cocks-Clark Engraving in 1909 and became distinguished as the largest supplier of copper and brass engraved plates west of the Mississippi. By 1929, the company outgrew its original location and built their current building at 2200 Arapahoe Street in lower downtown Denver, where we reside today! The prepress services business continued to expand to include an international client base of Fortune 500 companies, as well as a growing Denver and regional based clientele. In the early 1960's, the company helped pioneer one of the most innovative packaging methods of the time, the first two-piece aluminum can with the Adolph Coors Company. In 1991 the company developed a separation technique for printing photo images (wet on wet) on an aluminum can, countless images separated with this technique followed including the 1994 Sprite NBA Player Collectible Series and the 2003 X-Men Movie promotion, to mention only two. In 1997 the company was instrumental in developing the first ever magazine quality waterless can with Alcoa, it’s debut and full story written up in September 1997 issues of Canmaker and CanTech magazines. Today the innovations continue as we are the first trade-shop in North America to offer computer-to-plate steel backed letterpress and narrow web cyrel plates from our hybrid digital plate making system. Over 100 years of success has matured into the present Cocks-Clark Graphics, a company dedicated to the pursuit of new technology with proven experience, ready to meet the quality, speed and growing needs of its customers.
