Located in the historic Back Bay, the Berklee Performance Center (BPC) is at the core of Boston's entertainment and cultural community. The David Friend Recital Hall, at Berklee College of Music is a semicircular performance space with a horseshoe-shaped balcony, designed by architect Shizuo Harada. The 160-person capacity venue uses a stage that can be moved to the center of the room, creating a performance-in-the-round environment.
