The ARK's Thrift Shop, 1302 N. Milwaukee Ave. (near Ashland and Division) is located across from the Jewel/Kmart shopping center. Furniture and household is located in a double wide storefront and a whole storefront of clothing, shoes, accessories next door. Donations are accepted at the store during open hours. Furniture pick-ups can be arranged by calling the store.

The two sisters began their take from Alcala's Western Wear, where they inherited the retail ins and outs from their Family Business. Paperish Mess is a storefront and art gallery located in Chicago's Ukrainian Village neighborhood. Paperish Mess is a retail space showcasing original artwork in a variety of mediums and styles, as well as handmade goods and wares by independent artists. The space also hosts featured art exhibits, installations, and community centered events. We've created a place where those coming through our front doors, whether they be a local resident, a creative mind, or an independent artist can intertwine with one another. We’re so psyched to bring this to our neighborhood and we hope that you’ll want to be a part of it with us too. Tarnish is wrong. It's usually a problem. But tarnish is inevitable, it happens. Things that are new aren't tarnished or smudged. But objects that have lived, been handled, and done things – they get dings, scratches, and a thin layer of everything life has thrown at them. A lot of people don’t like tarnish. They work hard to clean it, to get rid of it. But you can’t, really. Tarnish isn't a thing, it's a story. I named my store Tarnish because I'm not just selling accessories and clothes, I'm selling stories. Stories behind who made it, who owned it and of course, the story to be written by whoever the new owner is. Tarnish is about the beauty in life, and in living it without a rear-view mirror.
