Marsh & Associates, Inc. provides architecture, engineering, and interior design services for golf clubs, resorts, boutique hotels, and spas. The firm is recognized worldwide as one of the foremost experts in hospitality design, and is one of few firms to specialize in these disciplines. MAI has offices in Colorado and Texas, and has celebrated projects throughout the United States and the world. The company was founded in 1996 by industry veteran Mike Marsh and a core group of architects and interior designers who had collaborated on numerous golf and hospitality projects. This tight-knit group came together through their shared goal to provide pioneering world-class resort design, combined with old-fashioned client service. The result has been an impressive roster of distinguished projects. From California to Florida; and from New York to Hawaii MAI has established itself as a preeminent golf and resort Architect in the United States. For these, and for international clients in Mexico, Costa Rica, Korea, China, India and Russia MAI’s team has delivered a winning combination of golf and resort expertise, trend-setting design, personalized service, and a deep-seated passion for doing great work. MAI takes a comprehensive approach to a project by designing not only the principal structures, such as clubhouses and hotels, but also the secondary structures that together comprise the personality of a club or resort. Thus MAI applies the same standards of quality for the architectural and interior design of fitness facilities, beach and social clubs, lodging, sales centers, gatehouses, and equestrian amenities to ensure continuity and harmony throughout. MAI takes great pride in having been recognized for its design excellence. A measure of success comes from acknowledgement by ones peers, and MAI has consistently been named among the “Top Hospitality Architecture Firms” by Hospitality Construction Magazine, and “Interior Design Firm of the Year” by Boardroom Magazine. Golf clubhouse architect Richard Diedrich, in his book The 19th Hole: Architecture of the Golf Clubhouse lists five clubhouses designed by MAI as among the top 50 in the United States.

What is the Media Center? The Media Center is a total Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform combined with content creation, and a marketing campaign engine for the mortgage industry. We automate data flow from mortgage companies' Loan Origination Systems to the Loan Originators' databases and we create personalized marketing campaigns to Prospects, Customer and Business Partners. We have been simplifying our platform since 1995 and have been web based since 2000. We are now the industry’s most powerful and easiest to use CRM. The Media Center is subscription based, doing business across the Unites States for thousands of Originators. And we just completed a four year analysis showing an average annual increase in production of 27 loans for Loan Officers who use our services vs. those who do not. The “Insanely Simple CRM” Story Hi my name is Dan Harrington. The idea for the Media Center came to me after 5 years of originating loans the hard way. What I mean by that is I had to recreate the wheel every month. Go out and get more deals. Get them closed. Repeat every month. In other words, my Realtors would come and go. My customers rarely came back. I lost a lot of my prospects before they closed. It was an extremely difficult way to earn a living. Over the years I tried to market myself so people could find me, but it was a losing battle. It was just too hard to get anything out to people on a consistent basis. And remember this was in the days before email, let alone Facebook and Twitter. I became more than a little frustrated, in fact I was ready to quit. Then it hit me… “I wonder if other LOs are as frustrated as I am?” I worked in a branch of 30 LOs, so I asked. All of them were as fed up as me. They were willing to pay for help staying in touch with their Realtors and past clients. Luckily my former processor had an IT degree. In 1995 we formed “The Media Center” for CTX Mortgage. We began with just a blast fax to Realtors and direct mail to Customers. We kept up with technology and got on the Web in 2000. This enabled us to become a true CRM. We could manage databases of Prospects, Customers and Realtors. LOs could add, edit and delete contacts. Now they could easily look up, call, and keep notes on their contacts. We could also do email campaigns! Wow! The LOs taught us what worked and what didn’t. The most important lesson by far was, no matter what we did, it had to be easy to use. Everything that could be automated was automated. If a loan officer never logged in the system, it still worked. We automated getting closed loan data into the system. All the campaigns were on auto pilot. An LO could literally never log in and be happy to pay us every month. Why? Because they were closing more loans, and Realtors were more loyal and referring more loans, and more prospects were converting into customers. We took the Media Center private in 2008: not an easy time for the retail lending industry. We now work with hundreds of companies and thousands of LOs across the nation providing an “Insanely Simple CRM”. Our promise: We will increase your repeat and refer business as well as your customer satisfaction, and we are 100% compliant, 100% of the time. Promise.

David Easton & Ryan McDaniel -- About David Easton: For most of my life I have had my head in the clouds, both literally and figuratively. At a very young age, I dreamt of airplanes and flying. Piloting remote control airplanes was one of my favorite pastimes, and as soon as I was old enough to legally get my private pilot certificate, I did. I followed my love for aviation all the way up to the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace at the University of North Dakota (UND) in Grand Forks, North Dakota where I earned a degree in Aerospace Sciences, majoring in Commercial Aviation. After my time in Grand Forks, a flight instructor position took me to Santa Monica, California. Flight instructing allowed me to truly appreciate the value of my knowledge and skill set that I had attained and cultivated through my college education. Unfortunately, though, sometimes life isn’t fair. I always thought it would be, but it tends to throw you some “curve balls”. One such curve occurred at the age of 26, when I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. The FAA has a “Blanket Protocol” against insulin-dependent diabetics (such as all Type 1’s), so they rescinded my ability to receive a 1st and 2nd class medical. No longer was I allowed to utilize my commercial pilot certificate. The devastating loss of my 1st career passion was an even larger blow to me than the onset of my chronic disease. After many years of feeling sorry for myself and kicking around a variety of unfulfilling dead end jobs, the choice became clear. Coming from a family of independent business owners both in real estate sales and home construction, I decided to follow in my parents’ footsteps and jump in head first to real estate! The Learning Law of Primacy: “Primacy”, the state of being first, often creates a strong, almost unshakable, impression. Things learned first are very difficult to erase. Therefore, “unteaching” wrong first impressions is considerably harder than teaching a concept right the first time. For both student and instructor, this means that what is taught must be correct if one does not wish to retrace his or her steps…or worse. It was imperative as a pilot that I taught my students with the utmost degree of accuracy, professionalism and humble understanding. The stakes are high when making a mistake during flight, and if a student is improperly taught, it could be the difference between life and death. A similar set of circumstances exists in real estate. Fortunately, nothing that I can do as a Realtor will cause the loss of life (Although, some clients have shared past real estate experiences in which they wanted to either kill their Realtor or crawl into a hole and die!). It has been stated by a variety of sources, that buying or selling a home is one of the most stressful events in a person’s life. An incorrect series of decisions in a transaction has the ability to transform an experience that, otherwise, has all the ingredients to be a wonderful one. In my opinion, there is a right and a wrong way to buy and sell real estate. Every transaction should be a collaboration between many different parties with the client intimately involved at every stage. I feel it is at the root of my professional responsibility to teach my clients the right way the first time (that whole primacy thing). Through setting realistic expectations, communicating diligently and clearly understanding my client’s objectives, buying or selling can in fact be enjoyable! “Hire a Teacher, Not a Salesperson.” - Dave Ramsey A true professional values education. I also feel that a true professional values acting as a consultant rather than a salesperson. I value that my brief participation in someone’s real estate experience may have benefited them or even propelled them into a better position in life. I value being a trusted advisor and a visionary with sight of, and insight to, their “big picture”. Solving problems and setting a plan of action to achieve a common goal via a logical process are also things I enjoy. I am a people person through and through, and I am mindful of the responsibilities I have to my clients in every transaction and with every referral I receive. My clients continue to bless me through their willingness to refer me, and I can proudly say that 95%+ of my business is by referral. I am in this business for you, and I am committed to being your life long real estate resource. Thank you! -- About Ryan McDaniel Hi, my name is Ryan McDaniel, and I was born in Tulsa, OK to Gary and Susan McDaniel in 1975. I grew up in the suburb of Broken Arrow and graduated with Distinction, playing baseball and basketball at the gigantic B.A.H.S. After attending the School of Mines in Golden, CO for 1-year, I transferred back home to Oklahoma University and changed majors. Like a lot of young people from my generation, I was diluted- thinking things were going to come very easily to me. As it became evident that this wasn’t the case, I became withdrawn, dropped out of school, and began working in restaurants around Tulsa to pay the bills. Before I knew it, several years had passed and I was at a crossroads: make a career out of the restaurant business or go back to school and get an education. All of the late nights, holidays, and failed relationships that I saw my managers suffer through at the restaurant didn’t appeal to me, so I chose the latter, putting myself through Tulsa Community College. When I was done there, I chose to relocate back to the Oklahoma City area, re-enroll in O.U., and transfer to an Outback Steakhouse (the company I had been at for the last 5 years) in that area. Always having been a great student growing up, my goal at that point was to get my auspicious GPA up, by the time of graduation, over the 3.0 threshold, which I did (3.05). With my strong GPA in the Price College of Business classes and the recommendation of a couple of existing members, I was able to apply for and be accepted into the prestigious Delta Sigma Pi Professional Fraternity, which I’m still active in to this day. Through this experience, I feel I rediscovered purpose, belonging, openness, generosity…a lot of qualities which had gone by the wayside while I was focusing on my “first world problems” of my young adulthood. I worked at Outback Steakhouse this whole time as well, eventually logging 9+ years there. I liked the company, developed a strong pride in my job, and became a tireless worker as I tried to make the lea way I needed (on my modest wages) to be able to afford school. After graduating from Oklahoma University, I worked for various companies in Oklahoma City and Tulsa over the next several years, eventually becoming sales manager of a publication in Tulsa, but I felt as though I was still not in a position which would allow me to reach my full potential. The year was 2008. It was at this time that my father’s health took a major turn for the worse, from obesity and years of abusing alcohol and cigarettes. However, he was the same genuine, gregarious, charismatic guy through it all that he was known as throughout his entire life. During his month-long hospital stay and through much insistence, he convinced an attractive Dominican-born nurse (Attractive in scrubs? Now that’s saying something!) who he had developed a special relationship with and myself to start talking on the phone. One night his heart stopped, this time for good, but not before he had put Betty and I together in his final days, when the best he could do is to write notes, with much hardship, still urging us to “go out”. I planted that first kiss on Betty the morning of his funeral, and the rest is history. Shortly thereafter, Betty saw an ad calling for agents at an independent, high volume real estate firm, Accent Realtors, in Tulsa. The lessons that had eventually manifested, with much tumultuousness, through my years in restaurants: hard work, meticulous service, and thorough communication, along with the confidence and sense of greater purpose that I discovered during my return to the university, suddenly seemed to fit my new job description very well. I got hired on, soon became the highest producing agent on the team, and wound up closing 130+ transaction there over the next 5 years. I finally felt as though I had found my calling. When her family relocated to beautiful Colorado to start Eating Recovery Center and Betty and I had a beautiful baby girl, the volume became deafening from her family for us to follow them to Denver and take advantage of the increased opportunities that this vibrant metro area had to offer. Anyway, I think that’s what they meant by “get that baby to Colorado!” It was during this ongoing discussion regarding the move, that Betty’s dad put me in touch with Dave Easton, Managing Broker at Elevation Realty. Dave’s knowledge of the area (as a metro Denver native), willingness to spend time with me to ensure my success here, and emphasis on always doing the right thing for his clients appealed to me greatly. I joined forces with him at the start of 2015, and the future has never looked brighter for the McDaniel clan!

Discovered in 2007 by BoostMyScore.Net Founder and CEO Bill Airy, "Credit Piggybacking" is when one person pays to be listed as an Authorized User on a perfectly managed credit card held by someone else in order to boost their credit score. When the person with good credit adds the person wanting better credit to their card, the credit card company reports the account history for that credit card to the credit bureaus. When the new history appears in the authorized user's credit reports, their credit score is immediately recalculated to show an increase as a result of the new card's presence in the report. While the authorized user does not receive the physical card or account number, they do receive the benefit of having that particular credit card's entire credit history - limit, balance, payments - in essence "copied and pasted" onto their credit report, looking as though it were there the entire time. Having a higher FICO® Credit score means lower interest rates, easier loan approvals, higher credit limits, and generally better loan terms for consumers.

Below are the core guiding principles that define Keating Wealth Management as a firm, our beliefs, and what we can and can’t do. Trust. The relationship between a client and a financial adviser must be built on the bedrock of mutual trust. We intend to earn the trust of our clients by telling them the absolute truth at all times. This is the only way to build a relationship that will benefit both parties and that will endure. Planning. A financial plan is a key element in our relationship with each client. The plan establishes goals for the investment portfolio and enables us to measure progress toward these goals. Purchasing Power. Preserving the dollar value of a portfolio can never be an adequate goal because inflation constantly erodes that value. If inflation runs at 3% a year, the cost of living doubles every 25 years. In this example, investors who merely preserve their principal amount will lose half their purchasing power over this time period. The real goal must be to preserve and grow purchasing power. Equities. Over time, equities—not bonds—have been the best way to preserve and grow purchasing power. Since 1926, equities have delivered a 7% real return for large-company stocks and a 9% real return for small-company stocks, double and triple the 3% real return for bonds. Volatility. Equities are more volatile than bonds, which explains their higher returns. But we don’t equate equity volatility with risk. Volatility is just a short-term disturbance, but the long-term returns from equities are enduring. The bumpy ride is the reason for the return. You own equities because they go down temporarily and up permanently. Growth. Volatility is the norm in the equity market. Since the end of World War II, intra-year declines have averaged 14%, and temporary declines of 15% to 20% occur, on average, about one year in three. Roughly one year out of five has seen a bear market—a decline of 20% or more. Nonetheless, the equity market is now more than 70 times higher than it was in 1946, and dividends have increased by a factor of 40. Inflation has trimmed these gains, but not by much: consumer prices are now about 13 times higher. Behavior. The real risk for equity investors is not volatility per se; it’s their own emotional response to volatility. All of us have an innate tendency to interpret large temporary declines in the market as the beginning of the end. And when we panic, we flee. Investor behavior—not investment performance—actually drives the financial outcomes experienced by most investors. We believe that our primary value to our clients is as a behavioral coach. Patience. For decades, countless experts have tried—without success—to predict or time the markets. We conclude that it cannot be done. To capture 100% of the long-term return of equities, investors have to be in the market at all times. This means experiencing 100% of the short-term volatility. Since there is no effective way to buy or sell stocks in response to market or world events, we devote no time or effort to analyzing these events. Our advice is unchanging: Whatever may be happening in the world, we counsel clients to patiently continue holding the portfolio that offers them the best chance of reaching their financial goals. In other words, stay the course. Value of Advice. During the years of our relationship with a client, we are confident that our behavioral advice against panic selling in falling markets and providing the discipline to stick to a well-constructed financial plan will be worth multiples of our fee. Index Funds. We believe that equity index funds should be the core holding for all our clients because they are broadly diversified, low cost, and tax efficient. Over every cycle, equity index funds have consistently outperformed the vast majority of actively managed mutual funds.
