Froesel Tire was established in 1937 by Daniel J. Froesel. In 1964, Daniel's oldest son, Ron, took over as owner and president. After serving in the Army, in Vietnam, Ron's younger brother, Gerard, joined Froesel Tire as a partner in 1969. On June 28, 2007, Daniel E. Mitchell, a 39-year employee and nephew of Daniel J. Froesel, and cousin of Ron and Gerard Froesel, acquired the company through an asset purchase. Ron and Gerard Froesel still serve as manager/consultants today. William F. Mitchell, son of Daniel E. Mitchell, is also a minority owner and represents the fourth generation in the Froesel Tire organization. Owners and 30 associates provide a full-service operation with two locations to serve our customers. Several of our sales, management, and service techs have been with the company for more than 10 years. Froesel Tire provides passenger, light truck, truck/bus, OTR, lawn and garden, agricultural, industrial, truck retreads, and specialty tires. Services include passenger and light truck mechanical work, including brakes and shocks and struts. We also have six service trucks for mobile and emergency road service, with 24-hour service available. Our business serves the retail public, commercial, and industrial operations, as well as many state and municipal government agencies. Family-owned Morgner Inc. Air Conditioning & Heating has been providing air conditioning and heating sales, service and installation to Webster Groves and surrounding communities for over 45 years. Don Morgner started the business in 1965. He became a Lennox dealer in 1966, and relocated to Webster Groves in 1971. The business moved to its present location on Brentwood Blvd. in 1989. In 1991, Don purchased Town & Country Climate Control Specialists from a friendly competitor who was retiring. By 1992, the transition of turning over the business to his three sons, Steve, Rick, and Mike, had begun. Don retired in 1997, and is very proud of how his sons are handling the business and continuing the tradition of excellent quality and service to their customers. Seven of Morgner's 16 employees have extended service with the company. Those with 15 years or more of service include president Steve Morgner; vice-president Rick Morgner; vice-president Mike Morgner, lead installer Ricky Lipe, lead service technician Robb Obergoenner and lead service maintenance Matt Winkler.
