Paola travels the world to find fun and interesting wines that taste great and have complexity but are not necessarily pricey. Raised in an Italian family, I always loved to bake. I grew up learning Italian desserts from my grandmother and spent many years making desserts at my parent’s authentic Italian restaurant in Sun City, Dominic’s. In 2008, I dove head first into the bakery business with All Caked Up, specializing in custom wedding cakes, party cakes, cupcakes, and anything else that can satisfy a mean sweet tooth. As business grew and word spread, my corner in the restaurant’s kitchen proved to be too small. Summer of 2014 will forever be engrained in my heart as the time I ventured out on my own and opened my first bakery. Thank you for sharing this journey with me. I hope a Bakeshop becomes somewhere you love to be as much as I do.

The story of Los Taquitos began more than 25 years ago when our parents started selling homemade tacos and burritos from a small cart in 1981. The cart was a huge success and quickly became a favorite among locals. Driving that success were recipes and techniques cultivated in Mexico many years ago and passed down from generation to generation within our family. Fast forward to 2000. With the guidance of our mother and the memories of our father inspiring us, we (seven brothers and sisters) opened Los Taquitos in the Ahwatukee community of Phoenix. Since the first day we opened our doors we’ve carried on the traditions of following our family recipes and serving truly authentic, great tasting food. We've also opened a location in North Phoenix and very soon one in Chander. From the scratch-made marinades we use to prepare our meats, to the shrimp ceviche and everything in between, our entire menu is prepared by hand using the freshest, highest quality ingredients. Our ice cream is Old Fashioned and still made here on our premises, the same way, with the same quality ingredients that was used on our opening day, back in 1951! When you visit Mary Coyle ice cream parlor, you'll be treated just like you're a member of the family, and be served delicious ice cream, sandwiches, soups, and salads.
