MISSION The mission of Veterans Link Up is to build a partnership of military and civilian service providers in Southeast Florida who honor the service of military personnel, veterans, and the sacrifices of their families, by providing comprehensive services to support achievement of their personal and professional goals. PURPOSE Provide innovative programming and special community events to assist active duty military personnel, veterans, reservists, National Guard members and their families cope with the challenges of deployment, re-entry and readjustment to civilian life after military service. Provide special programming and events to reach out to, and serve, family members whose spouses, children, siblings or parents are currently deployed or returning home from a combat zone for the U.S. military, regardless of which branch of the service. Promote greater public awareness and community support for U.S. military personnel and their family members, from all branches of the armed services, who are currently deployed, about to deploy, or are returning home. SERVICES The Department of Military Families provides activities and support services designed to address the unique personal and transitional challenges encountered by our military families through the various stages of deployment.
