Eric is a graduate of the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. He came to the Boston area for an Internship at Jordan Hospital (Now BIDMC) in Plymouth, one of the nation’s foremost Integrative Healthcare programs, with an emphasis on lower back pain. Originally a native of North Dakota, Eric grew up in a town of 7000 people—the largest in a 90 mile area. He became interested in chiropractic medicine as a high school athlete facing wrestling injuries. Successful treatments with a local chiropractor, combined with academic interests in anatomy and biology, set him on his course as a healer while he was still a sophomore. Eric looks forward to being a member of the Joint Ventures Physical Medicine team and believes deeply in providing team-based research-informed approaches to musculoskeletal conditions. Chiropractic treatment can be highly effective at decreasing pain, improving quality of movement and maintaining general physical function/performance. Eric feels that every joint in the body must have quality of movement. He practices with an Integrative approach that includes nutrition and lifestyle assessment as well as basic exercise/stretching programs that allow the patient to participate in their own recovery.
