Terms and Conditions:
Notice Period
Considering that each custom cake is unique and require lots of love and time, we need at least 2 to 3 weeks notice period (4 weeks for wedding cakes) prior the event date. For a last minute cake please contact us, we will be happy to accommodate your order if we have availability on our calendar.
Deposit
Once you are ready to schedule your event a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to solidify all details of your order and secure your date. deposit on all orders. Final payment must be paid before delivery, or upon collection/delivery. If full payment has not been made at this time, your order WILL NOT be released.
Cake Changes
Any changes to your cake order will be accepted until 2 weeks prior to the event date. After this time, changes may incur a charge.
Delivery
Delivery and set-up fee is $2.00 per mile within 20 miles of the studio and anything over that mileage is $3.00 per mile.
Collection
If you wish to collect your cake order, you must keep to the agreed date and time. Once a cake has been collected / delivered and the release form is signed we accept zero responsibility for any damages that may occur thereafter. For Wedding cakes it is the bride/groom's responsibility to appoint someone they trust to check and sign for the cake. If nobody is there to sign we do take photos of the cake set up for our reference and for proof in case any damages are caused thereafter.
Non Edible Items
Most cakes contain small portions of inedible items; it is the client's responsibility to ensure they are removed by you, your caterer or a nominated guest before consumption.
These include: Support dowels for tiered cakes, ribbons, wired flowers, toothpicks, crystals, flower picks etc.
Cancellation policy
In the event of cancellation, deposits are non-refundable. Any balance paid after the deposit however, can be refunded if the cake is cancelled over two weeks before the cake is due.
Photographs
We reserve the right to photograph your cake order, before delivery/collection for our own reference.
Duplicating cakes
Every cake designer has their own style. I will do my best to make a similar cake to the best of my ability but you must understand everyone has their own touch and skill level. This may result in the design being altered.
Disclaimer
We reserve the right to amend a design at any point if the circumstances are beyond our control.
Each cake is made individually by hand, so although every effort is made to ensure consistency to our designs, variation may occur from the picture supplied.
