The intersection of Haywood Street & Flint Street has a tradition of hosting events that dates back over 100 years. The Thomas Wolfe Auditorium opened in 1975. The auditorium has a seating capacity 2,431. The Thomas Wolfe Auditorium lobby offers a place for patrons to congregate and socialize while enjoying something to eat or drink from the concessions stand. The auditorium is the annual home of the Asheville Symphony Orchestra. The auditorium has hosted acts such as: BB King, Willie Nelson and Jerry Seinfeld.

Homewood is a beautifully restored 1920's stone manor located in Asheville's post-Victorian historic district of Montford. Originally built as a private home, the elegance of the 1920's is translated with luxurious wrought iron chandeliers casting graceful lighting. Chorizo was opened in April of 2007 by local chef Hector Diaz. We serve innovative Latin cuisine that encompasses the globe and you can dine with us for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Hector is an inventive chef who enjoys using the freshest ingredients that he can find! He goes to the local market almost every day and brings fresh produce into the restaurant.
