Once a bowl of BASSANOVA Ramen is set before you, you are to enjoy its creamy and rich Tondaku deep pork bouillon soup. Our chef dedicates all his efforts for over 12 hours to make our original recipe soup from select premium pork and pork bones, simmered in the specially ordered giant stockpot. In Tokyo, we have cultivated our recipe in Setagaya, an area with a high concentration of ramen shops. As a reward, we have received rave reviews from CNN to be ranked in the Asia’s Top-10 Soup list, and the New York Times has acclaimed our recipe as the best ramen noodle. Also the renowned Japanese food website Tabelog has ranked us as the #1 ramen for consecutive years. Come and fall in love with our Bassanova Tondaku Ramen and the Tondaku Green Curry Ramen!!
The Brick Lane Curry House differentiates itself from its neighbors with a bit more flash and an English-Indian menu. The bright purple fluorescent sign announcing the restaurant's name contrasts with the coolly elegant interior, and the whole enterprise is modeled not after the curry houses of Brick Lane in London, where curries have replaced crumpets as the national meal. The menu, therefore, is lighter on tandooris and khurmas and heavier on kebabs and robust curries.
Julian Plyter and Kareem Hamady created Melt Bakery in the summer of 2010 by testing a simple idea they had for a sustainable ice cream sandwich company focused on locally sourced ingredients with seasonal flavor combinations. Over the past three years they have grown the business entirely on their own and in earlier summer of 2010 they opened New York's first ice cream sandwich store at 132 Orchard Street -- just a couple blocks away from the Hester Street Fair where it all started. Julian is an experienced pastry chef who has worked at Lever House restaurant, Lure Fishbar and prior to starting melt bakery he was the opening pasty chef at the Crosby Street Hotel. Kareem is an idea guy, trained in finance, who loves eating his way through the city.

Bleecker Street/Broadway–Lafayette Street is a New York City Subway station complex in the NoHo district of Manhattan on the IRT Lexington Avenue Line and the IND Sixth Avenue Line. It is served by the: 6, D, and F trains at all timesB and M trains on weekdays train during rush hours in the peak direction4 train during late nights The complex comprises two stations, Bleecker Street (IRT) and Broadway–Lafayette Street (IND). The transfer between the downtown IRT platform and the IND platform has been within fare control since May 19, 1957, and the corresponding free transfer from the uptown IRT platform to the rest of the station opened on September 25, 2012.Station layoutThis station had a unique feature in the system in that a transfer to the Lexington Avenue line from the IND platform was only possible in the southbound direction until late September 2012. A free transfer passageway from the downtown IRT platform to the IND platform opened on May 19, 1957 after the IRT station's platforms were lengthened. This "one-way" transfer existed for about 50 years, as the connection from the IND platforms to the downtown IRT platform was purely coincidental, and was not originally intended when first built. A large offset of that station's platforms could not permit the construction of a full transfer to both platforms of the Bleecker Street station, when the free transfer was created in 1957. As a result, a free transfer was not available to the northbound platform and access to it required a one-block walk north to Bleecker Street and payment of an additional fare except to Unlimited-Ride MetroCard holders.
