We are open all year round. The house has a wood stove in the kitchen and fireplace in the living room Each room has its own electric baseboard heat and window fans when needed. The cabin has a solar panel that services a lamp and fan. There is solar shower, as well as a composting toilet. Definitely a choice for a "sustainable" vacation for a fun camping week or weekend. We have friendly animals including cows, sheep, turkeys, chickens, dogs and cats. Animals are fed organically and no spray is used in the gardens and orchard. Most of the animals are processed under strict kosher regulations, ensuring each animal is well taken care of and the best food comes from our farm to our (and maybe your) table. This same care is taken to our house and guests. Come in and relax in front of the fire in the living room while your children help feed and pet the animals. Take them on a great hike to the top of our property to see the views, and bring your telescope to watch the stars at night! Roast marshmallows at the campfire. Bring your paint and easel, binoculars, camera and guitar.....this is a place for peaceful inspiration or animal adventure. We are close to many exciting attractions, including Bethel Woods, the original site for Woodstock in 1969 and now popular concert venue. We are close to the Delaware river, great for water sports and activities! Many great restaurants in the area to satisfy just about any taste. Have a drink at the Dancing Cat Saloon close by.
