The Elysian is part of the remarkable series of buildings that world-renowned architect William Pereira designed for the Metropolitan Water District in 1961. The Elysian has been converted by Linear City Development, the pioneering partnership behind such award winning projects as The Biscuit Company Lofts, The Toy Factory Lofts and 7th + Bridge. Linear City has taken great pains to preserve the architectural legacy of the building while, at the same time, providing the most modern and environmentally sensitive updates. The Elysian has installed an extensive solar hot water system and 20 electric vehicle charging stations. The live/work residences at The Elysian offer an array of unrivaled amenities. All the units enjoy large balconies and high ceilings some of which soar to over 20 feet. Remote controlled Mecho shades are installed throughout the project. Kitchen appliances by Bertazonni and Bosch are paired with custom cabinets built in Italy by Modelo Cucino. Polished concrete floors and Cesarstone counters are both practical and dramatic. The two-story penthouse units set a new standard for Downtown drama. There is a large community deck with fireplace, barbeques, fountains and cabanas. The Elysian is a pet friendly building.
