AmberSky is a unique business. Our customers include future photographers, students, local artists, and parents. About the Owner: I grew up in a house where my father always had a camera taking pictures of my sister and I. It was rare to find my father without his camera. He wanted to be sure to capture all those special moments of his two daughters growing up. Before I was even walking (well almost) I knew how to use a camera. My father had instilled the importance and value of being able to stop a special moment in time to me. I have grown up and now have two beautiful boys of my own. It seems like everyday when I wake up they have changed so much. I now understand why my father always had his camera. I feel like I am instilling these same values into my son, Dmitri, who is now 2 ½ years old. He has one of my old film cameras that he enjoys pretending to take pictures. His favorite thing to take pictures of his thunder when storms come. He will stand inside at a window and pretend to document the storms as they roll though. Children hold a special spot in my heart – they are so sweet, innocent, and precious. Part of why I became a newborn/family photographer. As a mother I understand how fast time speeds up and it seems like a day when really two weeks have gone by. Taking pictures and stopping those little moments in time so that they can become lasting memories is so important with our little ones. Being a mom myself I understand the importance and safety of newborn photography. It is so important to find a professional photographer that has training specifically in newborn photography when searching for a newborn photographer. This is why I attend workshops and classes so that you can be relaxed knowing your newborn is safe during our photography session. I earned my Bachelors degree and Teaching Certificate in Middle School Science in 2011. I have been taking pictures as a hobby for many years. I began my photography career as a young girl in 4-H and Girl Scouts. I have had many jobs working for professional photography organizations throughout the years. Three years ago, I opened my own photography business operating out of my house. Over these three years I have seen the need for education on the new art of digital photography, especially in our youth. I am happy to offer an educational facility on the art of digital photography to our youth and to support them as they grow to become professional photographers or hobbyists.

I, Nick Licata, am a very passionate photographer in the St. Louis metro area. I started out about 12 years ago shooting mostly local bands at their concerts and from time to time some Promotional photos as well. Since then, I have become more and more aware of my surroundings and am always finding great locations as well as spotting the compositions as they come to me. I am more of a natural photographer, meaning as much as the posed shots work, I truly like capturing things to look as real and casual as possible. I recently have started taking up more portrait work and within the last year I shot my first (technically second) wedding. While I wouldn't consider myself full on professional, I know I have an eye for things and am willing to expand my expertise to different ends of the photography spectrum. I am extremely comfortable shooting landscapes and live shots, when it comes to portraits as I said I prefer the casual look. . but if it's posed pictures you are looking for I have been practicing and looking up many different posed shots to work with.

Since 2007, GoodEye has been creating a unique experience for social gatherings of all shapes and sizes. We decided that it is no longer enough to show up with a traditional photo booth and its outdated capabilities. These days, it’s called an Open Air Photo Booth. Goodeye founder, Bruce Seymour was taking underwater photos in the 70s, snapping selfies in the 80s and owned the very first digital camera on the market in the 90s before anybody else knew what that was. Goodeye started as a pet project for Bruce as a way to pursue his passion for photography outside of his career as a software developer. Today, he uses his background and love of gadgets and technology to perfect and continually disrupt the industry. The staff is still not sure if Bruce ever sleeps. Our mission has never changed: We’ll help you create an experience at your event that will keep people talking about it for years and years to come.
