The Regional Arts Commission leads, strengthens and gives voice to a creative community where every citizen can be proud to live, work and play in a world-class region. In short, we are proud of our St. Louis cultural identity and want to do whatever we can to grow, sustain and promote that identity in the future. We are at the forefront of helping transform St. Louis into a more vibrant, creative and economically thriving community through the arts – and want everyone to know just how special the creative community is within the region. Our organization was founded in 1985 to promote, encourage and foster the arts and cultural institutions in St. Louis City and County, and to contribute to the economic development of the area through a strong presence of the arts. RAC is a leader in providing innovation, access and creative solutions to economic and community development. We advocate respect, inclusion and appreciation of the diverse cultures of all individuals, and are always striving to achieve creative methods of community growth.
Fair Saint Louis 2016 – America’s Biggest Birthday Party in Forest Park! Join us this July in St. Louis’ iconic Forest Park, which was recently named “Best City Park” in the nation by USA Today, as we celebrate our nation’s independence. Saturday, July 2, through Monday, July 4, the grounds that once hosted the 1904 World’s Fair will welcome back fairgoers to experience three days of memorable fun and entertainment. Keeping with Fair tradition, this year’s event will feature a variety of free family entertainment, live music from nationally-recognized recording artists, and much more. And as always, an unforgettable, world class fireworks show will close out each night of the Fair. Mark your calendars for July 2, 3 and 4, and we’ll see you in Forest Park for America’s Biggest Birthday Party!
THE CHAPEL is a not-for-profit music venue, performance space and art gallery. Through generous supporters, THE CHAPEL provides all services free of charge to artists and musicians. Bands always take all of their cover. Theatre groups are not charged rent. Artists take full commission for work sold. Drinks are always free - donated by friends of THE CHAPEL. We support St. Louis as it positions itself as a premier city for the arts and music. THE CHAPEL is a Sanctuary For The Arts, a converted gothic structure behind Memorial Presbyterian Church, across from Forest Park, next to Washington University, at 6238 Alexander Dr., St Louis, MO 63105.

Bill Christman's Ars Populi Gallery (now known as Joe's Cafe Gallery) is an additional art and sometimes movie space next to the world-renowned Joe's Cafe BYOB music venue.
The Social Programming Board (SPB) is an Executive Entity of the Student Union at Washington University in Saint Louis, charged with providing entertaining and educational activities in the form of concerts, comedians, and special events. These programs will work to fulfill the programming aspect of Student Union’s purpose and help create a more vibrant campus community. As the Student Union’s principal student programming body, the SPB’s programming will emphasize its mission of service to the campus community and to the undergraduate students in particular. In fulfilling these responsibilities, the SPB will be responsive to the diverse interests and programming needs of the campus community.
Programming takes place year-round at our new location at 5959 Delmar Blvd. in the Loop East. The largest portion of the 200+ youth we serve each year are apprentices in ArtWorks’ Summer Program. Since 1995, youth apprentices in the Summer Program have been hired through a competitive application process in which artistic talent and personal motivation are employment criteria. Past apprentices who successfully finish the summer program by showing leadership, talent, and interest are invited to continue working in the fall and spring programs.

And organizers have also talked of using available proceeds to set up a University City foundation that would provide grant money to local organizations working on behalf of the community. Those plans will depend on the success of this and future carnivals. Celebrate U City! will be serving beer from Schlafly at the Beer Garden. Three types of beer will be available: Schlafly Pale Ale Schlafly Summer Lager Schlafly Kolsch or Hefeweizen Beer will be sold for four tickets ($5.00) for 16 ounces.
Washington University School of Law is a private American law school located in St. Louis, Missouri. The law school is one of the seven graduate and undergraduate schools at Washington University in St. Louis. Founded in 1867, the School of Law is the oldest continually operating private law school west of the Mississippi River. The Olin Business School is one of seven academic schools at Washington University in St. Louis. Founded in 1917, the business school was renamed for entrepreneur John M. Olin in 1988. The school offers BSBA, Master of Business Administration (MBA), MS in Supply Chain Management, MS in Finance, Masters in Accounting, MS in Customer Analytics, MS in Leadership, Executive MBA, Doctor of Business in Finance (DBA) and PhD degrees. In 2002, an Executive MBA program was established in Shanghai, in cooperation with Fudan University.The Olin Business School includes the 80000sqft Simon Hall, whose 1986 construction was largely funded by a gift from John E. Francis Field is a stadium at Washington University in St. Louis that was used as the main stadium for the 1904 Summer Olympics. It is currently used by the university's track and field, cross country, football, and soccer teams. It is located in St. Louis County, Missouri on the far western edge of the university's Danforth Campus. Built in time for the 1904 World's Fair, the stadium once had a 19,000 person seating capacity, but stadium renovations in 1984 reduced the capacity to 4,000 persons. It is one of the oldest sports venues west of the Mississippi River that is still in use. Francis Field now utilizes artificial Field Turf, which can be configured for both soccer and football.
