We are a western Buddhist community with roots in Korean Zen. It is our mission to offer a space for Zen practice to the region. Our hope is that by engaging the community and providing a practice place for awakening, more people will begin to realize the many benefits of beginning and continuing a Zen meditation practice. It is our hope that once the practitioner realizes the enrichment found in the practice, they will help to enrich the lives of all beings. We strive to make the teachings and practice of Zen more accessible and approachable to a modern-day western mindset, without sacrificing the wisdom of the Zen masters that have handed down to us this amazing tradition. We focus more on the Zen practice of awakening, rather than being tied to very specific forms and protocols. Boundless Buddha Zen Society and it’s centers/temples are completely open and welcoming to all people who are sincere in their wish to learn and practice Zen in a safe, encouraging, and welcoming community. We do not discriminate based on race, age, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any and all other dualistic mindsets. We see all beings as a Buddha!

To celebrate the Ideals of the former Athletic Committee: Philosophy - The general aim of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Athletic Committee is to organize a sports program for boys and girls which will aid in the development of youth. The sports program plays an important role in helping boys and girls become physically fit, mental alert, and morally sound. Coaches have the responsibility of setting a good example for the youth to follow. They shall guide the youth in accordance with Catholic principles expressed by respect for others, fairness, self-control, and good sportsmanship. The teaching of skills and teamwork are goals of the Athletic program. Winning games is secondary to good sportsmanship and the formation of character and leadership.
Southside Christian Center is a community oriented ministry, called to positively affect the South side of St. Louis. Southside, as the ministry is affectionately called, is committed to providing social and economic resources in addition to biblical prosperity principles. The south side of St. Louis is an area that has suffered from a lack of progressive vision from it's leadership. This lack of progressive vision and leadership has resulted in high crime rates and stagnate income levels relative to other areas of St. Louis and the metropolitan area. This diverse community has the resources, community organizations, institutions and religious organizations that can benefit its citizens, but lack the networking power needed for the citizens to advance. Southside Christian Center is currently pursuing facilities that will house a community vision. Our vision fosters and promotes a network of local social and economical services. The vision also includes strategically presenting life issues resolutions and advancing principles that will provide better opportunities for our community. Our vision, our leadership, our network will provide hope as well as resources to our citizens. Ultimately, our mission seeks to uplift the Southside of St. Louis while reducing the crime associated with lower socioeconomic plateaus.
A new diverse church where you will experience music you like, messages you can relate to, and relationships worth keeping for a lifetime. We serve the community through Haven Street, our ministry to the hungry, Recovery Ministry, helping people with their hurts, habits and hang-ups, and our Transportation Ministry helping you find a way to The Connection worship events. Come as you are and sense God's embrace.
I'd love to tell you that St. Paul's Episcopal is the biggest, hippest, and coolest church in St. Louis. All of this would be a self-congratulatory lie. St. Paul's is an urban Episcopal Church that sits in the heart of the historic Carondelet neighborhood in South St. Louis City. What does this mean? Well, it means that St. Paul's is a feisty little church with a big heart. It means that St. Paul's takes seriously its call to be disciples of Christ and to help the people of St. Louis also be disciples of Christ. We here at St. Paul's are passionate about being the hands and feet of Christ, of listening to and discerning the call of the Holy Spirit in our individual and communal lives, and of worshiping and praising God for the grace, glory, and love that God has rained down upon us. Whether you are black or white, young or old, rich or poor, St. Paul's invites you to worship with us on Sunday morning, eat a doughnut with us, and discern God's holy calling with us in your life and our life. At St. Paul's you will be welcomed and loved just the way you are!
