Some of the activities include arts and crafts, exploration, cultural enrichment, fitness, dance, team building, community service, games, and exciting field trips. Summer Day Camp is an eight week program beginning in June and ending in July. Parents / Guardians may drop off their children as early as 7:00 am and must pick them up no later than 6:30 pm. By following the same logic as other youth sports such as baseball and soccer, kid-sized courts and kid-sized equipment is used in this program. Itsy Bitsy Tennis This is tennis for the little ones. Ages four (4) to six (6) get an introduction to the USTA Quick Start Tennis format. Participants will learn basic tennis skills through various drills. MILRA will control and manage the site and sell parcels for private development or joint venture in accordance with the approved master plan. Board members of the Authority include representatives from the Cities of Atlanta, City of East Point, Fulton County, and the State of Georgia. The Homeless Veteran Supported Employment Program (HVSEP) provides vocational assistance, job development and placement, and ongoing supports to improve employment outcomes among homeless Veterans and Veterans at-risk of homelessness. Formerly homeless Veterans who have been trained as Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists (VRSs) provide these services.
