Special Olympics Utah works with athletes across the state of Utah with the help of generous donors and volunteers who help SOUT promote high-quality sports training and competition opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Our Purpose Statement Serving our local and statewide communities, Utah Friends of Basset Hounds, Inc. provides: Education to the public and prospective homes about the basset hound breed. Shelter and care for homeless basset hounds. Assistance, when needed, to anyone owning a basset hound so as to keep the dog in a good environment. Placement in suitable foster and permanent homes for all dogs taken into our care. Financial and emotional support, when needed, to our foster and adoptive homes using the dogs' best interest as a guide. Fundraising events in order to care for all dogs taken in by our rescue. Education about spaying and neutering in order to decrease pet overpopulation and random breeding. Placement assistance to state and local animal shelters for basset hounds and mixed breeds.
An event for guests 21 years of age or over. "Winos for Wildlife" ***** October 15th, 2016 ***** This unique conservation fundraiser is a wine tasting/tapas event held in conjunction with a wildlife photography & art exhibition and auction. This fundraiser will benefit wildlife, ecosystems and the people who share their homes worldwide. Salt Lake Service is the creation of the Monument Park 13th LDS Ward. We see an ever increasing need to share what is good with the world, and most importantly in our own community. We welcome ALL those that live and love Salt lake City to participate on this Facebook page, let us know the service projects you have coming up and those that you or your organization has been involved with, we will help you formally thank those volunteers that made all the difference. We will be placing a calendar of events that need help for all to see and hopefully get involved in. All are welcome and all encouraged to serve as the Savior would, loving each other as He has certainly loved each of us.

What is Rotaract? Rotaract clubs are part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. This effort starts at the community level but knows no limits in its outreach. Rotaractors have access to the many resources of Rotary International (RI) and The Rotary Foundation. Rotary International provides the administrative support that helps Rotaract clubs thrive.
