We only charge $40 for tuneups and repairs are always more than fairly priced. Because of the quality work and low prices we are always backed up with so there will most likely be a wait.

OUR STORY Redeemer Center for Life is the non-profit partner of Redeemer Lutheran Church, a faith community that has been part of the Harrison neighborhood of North Minneapolis for over 100 years. In 1999 the congregation founded Redeemer Center in response to the neighborhood’s identification of three primary desires: job growth, attainable housing, and youth development. Visitors to Minneapolis come and see the sights, receive historical and other information all while taking in Minneapolis on a bike! At present, four tours are available: Markets Tour The Markets Tour is a 10 mile, 3-4 hour tour that takes participants around the city seeing sights and also visiting markets of different types. Participants have the opportunity to take part in the wonderful city of Minneapolis and it's activities and purchase Minneapolis made goods and food. This tour uses bike lanes and trails 99% of the tour. This tour is appropriate for novice to more advanced bikers. Trailers and tandem attachments for children are available for this tour. Historical Tour The Historical Tour is a 6 mile, 3-4 hour tour that takes participants to various sights around the city while providing historical information. Participants will have the opportunity to stop and take an in depth look into some of these sights as well as purchase food. Note: This tour is recommended for intermediate to more advanced bikers. You will be biking mainly on bike lanes but sometimes will be on roads. This tour is NOT recommended for children. City Loop Tour Short on time but still want to see all the highlights of Minneapolis without any stops? Join us for our City Loop Tour! We’ll take you on a 1-2 hour loop of the city and tell you about the historical sites you view while riding. Approximately 5 miles, we will travel in bike lanes and bike trails to show your our lovely Minneapolis! Great for groups who have a short amount of down time between meetings or business events. Consider this our Mini-Historical Tour! Bike & Brew Tour What's better on a hot Minneapolis summer day than a bike ride and a cold one? On this tour, visit a few of our favorite local breweries and taprooms. Learn about each of the taproom's unique offerings, enjoy samples of the current on-tap beers, and while you are at it, learn about our beautiful city and its rich history. While our tours are a guaranteed good time (we are riding our bikes!), alcohol does need to be consumed in moderation. You can, however, stay and celebrate as much as you like at our last brewery stop. Come and have fun knowing you will learn a great deal about Minneapolis, all the while supporting local breweries and enjoying some fantastic brew! You must be at least 21 years old to participate in this tour. The price for this tour includes samples at each brewery and a small appetizer at one of our stops.

It is the belief of our architectural practice that in this period of maturing Modernism, advancing technology and emerging green design, that one must understand the qualities and issues present in all great architecture over time. For it is these issues of design integrity that can be developed and refined over time and made unique in each project. The home depicted in this publication is an exploration of such issues that result in progressive contextualism - a belief in place making that allows the project to express an individual identity while evoking intangible experiential qualities. First among these issues is the celebration of the site and the gifts of the land. Each individual location has a sense of place and identity that should be amplified, whether it is a remote lakefront site or many floors above the city. Thoughtful placement and composition of the aspects of the project on the site with the integration of landscape design allows the architecture to be a natural extension of that place, and belonging only to that place. Indoor and outdoor spaces merge, integrating the living experience with the site Equally important to the creation of architecture is the capture and development of natural light. Great residential architecture seeks to celebrate the rituals of the day, and light is the spiritual food that nourishes the soul, transforming these experiences. Understanding the path of the sun, one can compose the spaces within and outside the home with natural light, enriching the experiential qualities of space and creating a sense of place. What is unique in residential design is the exploration of spatial dynamics with a human scale. Creating a sequence of events through a space allows one’s senses to become engaged, creating a visceral experience. We believe in narrow houses that draw in natural light and sculpt spaces inside and out. Developing compressing and releasing spaces creates dynamics of intimacy and openness, nurturing a relationship with the place. The most identifiable aspect of architecture and perceived value of residential design is the quality of materials. Beyond cost, each material we select to build with has intrinsic qualities that evoke characteristics of solidity, plasticity, texture and color, while also absorbing or transmitting light. An exploration of these qualities transforms the experience of each house and conveys a relationship with the craft of building. The understanding of these issues has resulted in the varied expression of our work. Each project is unique - a reflection of its specific location and owner identity balancing what is timeless and progressive, evoking memorable experiences.

Zumba fitness classes integrate Latin-inspired and other international music with fun and easy-to-follow dance and fitness moves. Some of the rhythms we work out to include salsa, cumbia, merengue, and reggaeton. No dance experience is required and all levels are welcome. Classes are held every Saturday morning at 9:30 at the beautiful Four Seasons Dance Studio in Loring Park. The drop-in fee is $8 and parking on Saturdays is free. Registration is not required.
