The Good Beer Company is a socially responsible craft microbrewery. Proceeds from the sales of beer will be used to finance local community development projects. The local pub traditionally provided sustenance, company and a community gathering place for businesspeople, friends and families to share their experiences. The Good Beer Company takes the social importance of the neighborhood pub to the next level by reinvesting in the community that supports it. It turns ordinary craft beer consumers into philanthropists in support of their surroundings. It’s a business model that is about more than the bottom line - it’s about seeing that real, positive change happens on a local scale.
In the Purepecha dialect, (indigenous people native to the Michoacán region in Mexico), the word 'Kutsi' means Moon and 'Mother Nature'. 'Kutsi' captures the true essence of the cultural culinary traditions of Mexico. The vision for the restaurant name: incorporate a "feminine" symbol to represent the restaurant while simultaneously having a name that was true and original to the Michoacán region.
